This chopper is so useful it has a permanent space on the counter. It chops dried fruit with ease and chops mounds of onions, celery and carrots with some a little heft. I would not recommend it for someone with arthritis unless they are chopping easy stuff like celery and Roma tomatoes. It makes a mess of salad tomatoes. We have been using this for several months now. Both my husband and I use it to chop vegetables. It is easy and does a good job; onions, peppers, celery and even fairly firm fruit come out consistently cut. The only downside is it requires a lot of careful cleaning. The tools they provide work well but it still can be time consuming & you have to be careful with the sharp cutter. I have and use cut resistant gloves & it’s safer & easier. My logic is that the cleaning time equals the cutting & prep time and this way I get everything the same size. ... show more

Easy to use. Easy to clean. Blades cut through everything I’ve thrown at it. If there’s any struggle, I simply pre-cut smaller/thinner slices. I’ve even used it to make my own croutons when bread is going stale. Not as easy as going through veggies, but still effective. My only complaint is that I wish it came with a cheese grating blade.     • Ehhh...some regrets

I have some regret buying this. It doesn't work on all veggies and I don't have the arm strength of a man, so sometimes it's hard to slam it down with the strength needed to cut through whatever I'm cutting. The two different dicing sizes is great, but I tend to use the larger dicing size because it's just easier to cut through something. The smaller dicing size requires more arm strength, usually. I think the best use of this product, for me, is dicing onions because it shortens the crying time significantly! A word of warning - definitely keep your fingers away from the surface of the metal dicing plates. I accidentally sliced open a finger while trying to get out a veggie slice caught in the plate. Use the provided cleaning tools instead! The plates don't really look like that sharp since they don't have the classic cutting shape that we're used to, but yes, they are wicked sharp. ... show more
