I tried this out with cabbage and I was so disappointed! It can't handle the job! It gets tired after a few swipes and you have to reposition. Doing that wastes a whole lot of time and I wasted my money!

The mandoline blade isn't very sharp, and the thickness of the cut is not adjustable. I knew the thickness wasn't adjustable, but I thought the pre-set thickness would be more useful. It's set at a thickness that's too narrow for many uses.
