The media could not be loaded. Starting with unboxing and assembly, every single piece came individually wrapped in foam inside separate cardboard boxes. Needless to say, everything arrived in perfect condition with no damage from the shipping process. Assembly took roughly 30-45 minutes and the instructions were very easy to follow. A screwdriver and drum key were both required for assembly and both were included in the box. This kit comes with everything you need to start playing, including the stool (which has no problem holding me at 230lb), the drums, drum sticks, and headphones. I like that this drum set has headphone output, amp output to send to an external speaker, and midi output to send to a computer for recording. The drum set itself seems to be very nice quality. The stand is very sturdy and the mesh heads have a lot of bounce to them which helps make it feel like a real acoustic drum set. Overall I'm super happy with this kit and love being able to practice drums while the little ones take naps upstairs. ... show more

Needs the play along songs to be longer. Needs a cowbell. Needs to provide information on replacement parts (haven’t needed them) and or add ons. With a better set of headphones, this kit is absolutely legit. Definitely worth the money 👍

Great drum set.took sometime to set up but it’s durable the sound is excellent. It’s quiet for apartment and you can play through our amp. If you’re not sure if this is a good buy it is for sure. Absolutely love this set up.

I bought a kit I wanted and Amazon lost it. So I had to go with another kit because they were out of the one I wanted. This is the worst E kit I've ever played on. I am a professional drummer so you'd assume I'd want a Roland but I just wanted something cost efficient for practice and something my kids could play on. The HH trigger doesn't allow 16th notes or trips...The triggers are so sensitive even at minimum adjustments. It's just all around terrible. Now I have to box this junk back up after an hour of setup. I'll just stick with a drum pad...Even a pad with one sound is better than this. ... show more

The kit is comparable to others in this price range, went together easy enough. Good for my 10 yr old nephew, but for a long time drummer it's definitely weird, pads are small and hard to get used to especially for someone who's used to banging it out on a real kit. But for beginners and kids, it's ok. Biggest issue is the kick drum; it's way too sensitive, sounds HORRIBLE, echos like crazy and nothing I've tried can fix it. I've seen a review mentioning the same kick issue; does anyone know how to fix it? Vangoa????? Any help with this? Please? If it wasn't for the kick issue which renders the kit unplayable, I'd give 3 stars. After initial review I received timely support and advice from seller. Dialing back the sensitivity and making some adjustments to the head helped. ... show more

    • A solid beginner kit modeled after Roland
Size: 8" Drum
This is marketed as a beginner's electric drum set and fills that role well. Much of the layout and part design is modeled after Roland, generally acknowledged as the leader in electric drums. Vangoa sells a separate electric set for juniors; as my son is almost ready for a full sized kit, we figured this would work well enough for him to grow into. Maybe because he's still a bit small for a full sized kit, setup took quite a while; not as much to put all the pieces together, but to get everything aligned properly to play naturally. Once assembled, there were some settings that needed immediate attention - the kick, for example, was throwing out 1/32 strokes regularly. Fortunately, the controller allows fairly easy configuration on a number of settings. Honestly, the biggest problem we had was insufficient explanation of what the different options did, though some were obvious. With a bit of trial and error, we've got the set working pretty well. He's been playing on a physical kit for the past couple years and, while the heads are consistently smaller than what he's used to, he's still able to hold a decent beat. There are occasional accidental taps on the rim, but nothing too bad. He really likes the ability to plug in an MP3 player (or other music output) and jam along to his favorite songs. There are, of course, a couple gripes that I consider minor because they don't impact us much. The throne is a bit lightweight, but reasonable for the price. The sticks, on the other hand, are probably the worst I've ever seen. The headphones are also terrible and should be replaced immediately. For us, these are small things though because we already have nice sticks and headphones. If buying this as a gift, make sure you buy a separate pair of sticks though! Someday maybe we'll spend 5x as much to get him a Roland that will last him the rest of his life. For now, our house is quiter than it's been in a long time and he's having fun. ... show more
