This rod is listed as being able to be used for a span of 34-59". What they don't mention on the product page is it consists of 3 pieces: 1 end piece that has the adjustable tension. 1 end piece that is fixed. 1 middle "extension" piece. If you use only 2 pieces it will work from 32.6" to 44.8"; if you add the third it changes to 48.4" to 60.2" - so if you're like me and somewhere between 44.8 & 48.4" this will NOT work. The funny part is in the description they RECOMMEND using it at a 36 to 45 and 49-57 spans... nowhere does it say you can't use it between 45-49. ... show more

I like the size and and sturdiness of the pipes, but when you go to slide them into position, or move the curtains just right, they untwist and fall down. That doesn’t seem right.
