I have learned my lessons over the last 30 years using different oils. IMO Valvoline makes good quality oils and with the proper detergents in the oil. I use this particular oil (10-40) in a mini excavator. I have had no issues and when I change the oil it is relatively clean after 50 hours of abuse. I HIGHLY recommend this oil.
