I struggle with post-inflammatory erythema which leaves red dots on my skin for months (sometimes years!) after even the smallest of pimples. I normally use the ordinary niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% serum to target that but I wanted to try something new and something that uses other actives outside of niacinamide. This was cheap and had good reviews so I had hope, but it was just fine. I don’t have any progress photos to show but I didn’t notice any noticeable difference in redness in the four months that I used this product. This would be fine (maybe it takes longer to see a difference with this product) except my usual niacinamide serum is able to target my redness much better in the same time frame. For that reason, I won’t repurchase. Aside from its slow efficacy, I loved the texture of it! It was quite watery and dried on the skin well. It didn’t leave any tacky feeling and made my skin glow SO much! My skin was shining in such a healthy way every time I used this product. I found that it was even a bit hydrating too. I would recommend the ordinary serum over this one, however, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a great product! When I bought this I had thought I was buying more of a spot treatment but this is definitely meant to be used all over. It’s very milky and watery and would just be very hard to use only in one spot. But i like that it’s in a glass bottle and is definitely a good deal for the price
