I decided to try this from the reviews I've seen. I used it as a replacement for the hyaluronic acid and vitamin c serum duo I had been using in my nightly routine. I am in my mid-40's. While my skin feels soft and the texture of this was great, I've never been so wrinkly! I will be going back to former routine. I’ll be transparent that the idea of smearing snail slime onto my face is not exactly the most pleasant thing to envision and I will also admit that I am not in love with the slimy texture of the product in my hand/going on my face. This serum is absolutely incredible. One day I was looking for skincare products that help your skin look more dewy/moisturized. I saw the rave reviews on this, so I thought I'd try it. I had no expectations going into it, but started using it every night. It not only made my skin look overall healthier and brighter, but I had no idea it could help clear acne. I have had hormonal/jaw acne for YEARS, trying everything possible to get rid of it with no luck, and so on a whim I decided to try applying it around that area as well. To my surprise it pretty much completely cleared it!! In the photo, right side is prior to using it and left side is after using it regularly for a couple months. I am usually skeptical about these kinds of products, but I swear by this stuff now. I did more research on snail mucin and learned about the anti-inflammatory properties it contains and the science behind why it helps your skin. Obviously the results are not immediate, so it's important to apply it regularly each night. Per the instructions on the packaging, I spread a small amount of the serum little by little on my face and gently tapped it with my fingers to help my skin absorb it. I really wish it was called something else so I wouldn’t be so blatantly aware that I’m rubbing snail slime on my face but my aesthetician recommended this as well as an expensive MD quality repair cream to hydrate my face. I bought both and alternate between both but honestly like this better because it’s light, goes on silky smooth, and absorbs/dries quickly so it isn’t sticky. My skin is noticeably much more hydrated. I’m about to buy some more for my 95 year-old grandma whose skin is so dry air is flaking.
