I was super skeptical about these because I have the most stubborn blackheads ALL OVER my face, but they worked so well on my chin and nose (I don’t have many between my brows, just really large pores lol). I decided to cut a nose strip in half and try it out under my cheekbones (one half on each side), as I had a really bad break out of wide blackheads, and good lord the result was so disgustingly satisfying (see attachments). the only thing I’ll say that’s negative is that they stick very well to nose rings so if you have a piercing, be very careful while removing :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have never used Pore Strips but have wanted to for awhile as my nose has been subjected to dirt and oil for years without major cleansing. I prepped my face as per the instructions by washing then wetting my nose and applying the strip to my wet nose. I used the square strip mainly by mistake as I opened that one first but the results are the same. The strips removed quite a bit of debris from the pores of my nose. I have pretty large pores, but the strips only pulled a few black heads out. After steaming my face for 10 minutes, I used the nose strip and two face strips for my forehead and chin. The nose and chin strips are pictured, but nothing came out with the forehead one, and it did not stick well there. Despite the majority of the reviews being great, I was still a little nervous to try these. After a long hot shower and cleansing my face, I did my t zone for about 15ish mins and these were my results! I do a skin care routine but always struggle with my pores. I take an oral medication that actually makes the blackheads on my nose go away by stopping oil production and then it causes them to come out, but I've stopped taking it temporarily which caused my oil production to come back and so it caused the "blackheads" to fill back up but the white stuff inside still came to the surface (due to the oral medication still working I guess) and so my nose was bumpy and I could actually see the white stuff sticking out of my pores but I can't wash them out. I decided to see if these would work to remove them and THEY COULDN'T EVEN MAKE THE WHITE STUFF COME OUT WHEN IT'S LITERALLY STICKING OUT OF MY PORE AND I CAN FEEL IT. So yeah if it didn't work for me then anyone that has actual blackheads deep inside their pores on their nose, wont find these affective. I genuinely don't get how these have 4.5 stars at the time of writing this. I guess it's because they did pull a tiny tiny tiny amount out and so that get's people excited but I recommend people to just do research to find the name of the oral medication that actually makes blackheads on someone's nose go away.
