  • Best backpack blower I've ever used. Tubes stay on.
I've used a lot of backpack blowers and this Echo X is by far the most powerful and easiest to use. Started right up and runs great. The tubes stay on if you install them correctly, push them on and turn to lock, initially I blew the tube off but then realized you need to push and turn until it connects with the tabs, then it will lock. ... show more

  • Just Dew It
I am a caretaker at a facility with over 46 acres of forest land, and bought this because the Stihl BR350 I was supplied just wasn't cutting it. Normally, the time it would take me to do a routine blow with the aforementioned unit was 2-3 hours. With the PB9010, the job now takes me 35 minutes. To say this is a time-saver is an understatement. The only downside is that I now have to increase the intensity of my core workouts because this thing is heavy and places so much torque on one side of my body at full throttle. The BR350 allowed me to efficiently blow leaves and pine needles into piles. The PB-9010 will allow you to blow the piles into mountains. I now feel like I have a hurricane at my fingertips, and like this is the proper tool for the job. It allows me to spend less time blowing and more with my family, so just buy it, you won't regret it. ... show more

  • Worth every penny
I love this backpack blower. I live at the top of a mountain and every year I have to move what feels like billions of leaves. On top of the sheer amount of leaves, the wind is always blowing against where I need to push them. My old blower would take days to clear just a small part of my property. This thing changed my life. The wind is no longer a huge issue, still problematic but not nearly as much. I havent had a single issue with starting it up after overwintering. Highly recommended ... show more

  • Unstoppable Power!
This blower is an absolute beast. It's a big boy blower for big boy jobs. I'm a 70 yo man in good health and average build and have no trouble handling this blower. I bought the hip-mount throttle version because my old-man hands would eventually cramp-up doing "grabby" tasks. It was a good choice for me. Pros: -Power, power power! -Easy starter with 1 or 2 pulls. -Heavy-ish, but comfortable enough for a couple hours work (use tight-fitting straps.) -Fuel tank is large enough for an hour+ work at full power. -Work finishes faster, offsetting the thirsty fuel consumption. -Don't always need to operate at full power. Cons: -Assembling the blower tubes requires more hand strength than I could muster (use rubber strap wrenches.) -Your center-of-gravity is higher. You'll move around awkwardly until you get used to it. -Fuel lines partially block the primer bulb. Mildly annoying. -A little awkward to put it on your back (I need to jump up a bit to get my second arm through the strap) -Requires mid-grade (89 octane) fuel, or higher. Don't risk premature detonations with cheaper gas! -Useless for small jobs. I use a small hand-held blower for simple tasks. -Be careful around gravel driveways and mulched garden beds. It blows everything away. -Don't walk through bushes wearing this thing. Stuff gets easily stuck in it's open design. -When the ground is wet, the power of this beast creates a wet mist around you (actually dries the grass too.) I have moved and cleared massive piles of wet leaves with hickory nuts, twigs, and acorns rolling along for the ride. I doesn't just clear the leaves, it scours the ground too. I'm very pleased with my choice. ... show more

  • It didn’t last even a year.
I only used it a few times and then it just stopped working.

  • the beast
This thing is awesome. It has the power of 4 blowers, easy to use. I thought I made a mistake ordering the hip throttle model, but it is the best part. You will not regret this purchase.
