I used to have to old style Ego battery charger, but this one chargesTWICE AS FAST, which is obviously what everyone wants out of a charging system. I highly reommend this product for the fastest battery charging possible out there for EGO.

We have two EGO products, a large leaf blower and mower. This for us is a quick charger, meaning on average it takes about 30-mins to charge our mower battery. Went to mow my lawn. Popped the battery in, hit the switch, and nothing. Put the battery on the charger, the charger showed it as full. So now I'm faced with "is this a $100 charger problem, or a $400 battery problem?". So I bought this, but it was that. So now my brother has a nice, new, quick charger to replace his old standard charger, and I have a nice new battery that cost half as much as replacing the entire mower. Didn't expect the battery to die 17 months in, and this one better last longer. Can't afford $400 every 17 months. I could buy a new gas mower every year for that and have Scotch money left over. But the charger rocks. Just turns out I didn't need it after all. Noise? It's an electronic charger. If it's loud, your house is burning down. A small fan comes on, but nothing terrible, and it's not like I charge it in the living room or my bedroom. Charge it in the garage or shed like a normal person, it won't be a problem. ... show more
