Shaker bottles don't last long with me. I'll either lose parts (such as the shaker ball), or lose the entire thing, or the lid will start leaking, or the bottle will crack (in the sun, or because I drove over it). The list goes on. Surprisingly, my water bottles last forever. Go figure. So I bought these shaker bottles because they were inexpensive and had good ratings, and also because they came as a pair (in case I lose one right away). I didn't have high expectations, but I expected something "good enough". My expectations were smashed: Already these shaker bottles have proven to be one of my best sports accessory purchases *EVER*. First, I didn't even notice these bottles had that storage cup on the bottom. I've always mixed my shake before going to work, then it sat all day at work, and continued to sit while I did my workout after work, until I finally drank it immediately after my workout. Having the powder stored dry makes for a **MUCH** tastier protein shake! It's really night and day. The storage cup is secure (won't come off accidentally), and it seals very well. It also holds plenty of shake powder. Having it is a very pleasant surprise, already making this shaker bottle a much better value. Second, the shaker system, consisting of a bladed ball and a top screen, does a fantastic job. Literally 3 seconds of shaking and it's ready, with no clumps whatsoever. What I like best is that this system never gets those dry bits of power stuck in the corners: It's all in the shake, meaning cleanup is just a quick rinse and air-dry. Third, the flip-up stopper seals perfectly and doesn't hold drips. I've had stoppers that had drops of shake cling to them, only to land on my nose and run down my face. Yuck. Not a problem here! The stopper is hydrophobic, and hardly even gets wet. Since even a 5-star review should appear to be balanced and fair, I did find one minor quirk: You must add the powder last, after the water, ball and screen are in the bottle. My first time using the bottle I did powder first, then everything else, and I got semi-wet powder stuck in the blades of the ball where they meet in the center. Do the powder last, and that *NEVER* happens. Just buy these things. They're great shaker bottles and a true bargain, punching well above their weight class. ... show more

This is absolutely the best protein shaker I’ve ever purchased. There is simply nothing that could be improved on this bottle. The design and materials are all top notch. They have eliminated the need for a sealing ring with an outstanding design and absolutely don’t leak, the handle on the top is robust, there is a soft grip ring on the top that makes it easy to unscrew, the strainer is stout, the mixing ball does an excellent job…the bottles are so good I’m excited about a protein shaker! Oh and they have a screw on bottom where you can store powder…bonus! ... show more

I like this shaker bottle set pretty well. There is only 2 drawbacks about it. First the lid part that you open to drink from is very stiff and hard to open. Second the actual plastic mixer all that guess in the bottle is hard to clean and the protein powder seems to stick to it. It is really nice thought that it has a screw on compartment to store protein powder or what ever you like to put in there. ... show more

Definitely worth my money! The bottle works well and doesn’t feel cheap. The combo of the filter and bladed whisk really helps make smooth drinks. I tried it with both protein and creatine with milk and water and there were no clumps either time. It works very well. No leakage as well. Great product that’s cheap and you get two! ... show more

Bought these for my husband’s lunchbox. Ever since the first day they have leaked. He’s tried them with, and without the extra shaker parts, and they still leak. He has to place a piece of paper towel in his lunchbox to soak up the spills. Not too happy. Missed the return window, or probably would have returned them. ... show more

    • Great concept but could be improved

I really like the concept for the storage under the cup. It is very convenient if you want to take your drink to go, but not mix it yet, or if you are doing different drinks back to back like pre-workout and then amino acids immediately after for during your workout. You can just drink the first one, fill it with the next drink powder from the convenient storage area and then just refill with water. Love this feature! However, there are a couple of things that I am not crazy about. - First, I have a lot of trouble with the lid. It seems really difficult to put the lid on. I don't enjoy fumbling with it at 4:30 in the morning when I am just trying to wake up and quickly drink my pre-workout. - Second, the cap over the mouth is really hard to lock and unlock. Again, not fun to fumble with when you are first waking up or quickly trying to drink during your workout. It does not leak, so that is the benefit. However, I have used other mixer bottles that have lids that are easier to put on/take off and open/close the cap that do not leak. - Lastly, a couple of notes regarding the bottle and what might be personal preference and based on types of drinks you use, but just some things to consider. > Measurements/Size - This is bottle is 24 oz. and includes markers for 24, 16 and 8 oz, along with 700, 500 and 200 ML. All my drinks call for 6-8 oz, 10 oz and 12 oz., so I only use the one 8 oz. measurement and missing the 10 oz. and 12 oz. I never use it to its 24 oz. capacity. Because of this, I find this bottle too bulky. > Strainer - This comes with a strainer to ensure you never get any clumps while drinking. None of my drinks clump up to the extent of needing a strainer and the ball does a fine job of mixing it to prevent it. Therefore, I feel the strainer really isn't needed and just gets in the way... one more thing to clean. I gave this three stars to balance the pros (convenient concept and good price), the cons (annoying lid and mouth cap, missing useful measurements) and considering some personal preferences for general use (bulky size, seemingly unnecessary strainer). In conclusion, I wouldn't mind spending a bit more on a bottle that I really like. ... show more
