I love muscletech. Large quantity, amazing quality with a great price. I opted for the Vanilla flavor due to the want for mixing protein with other flavors in life like Fruits and whatnot. Does that very well. The flavor of the Vanilla itself is lacking but hey its basic Vanilla. Use it to make Ice Cream or whatever. I am a hardgainer but my excuse is because of my daily schedule that I do not make time to sit and eat whole meals. I opted for this to put on some weight. I was 145lbs before taking it and now am 161 lbs. Nice and fluffy looking and pretty solid with my workouts and other supplement stack I take. This has been nothing but good for me because in comparison to other mass gainers, they lack the creatine, glutamine and the extra carbs and protein. The chocolate flavor is delicious. It is about a week supply BUT i extend it to 2 weeks by taking just half a serving daily which is 3 scoops. Why? Because it is A LOT of liquid. With the 3 daily scoops, i break it down to 1 scoop with oatmeal for breakfast and the last 2 after my workout. I’m not in a rush to put on weight so the full serving (6 scoops) down to 3 scoops (half a serving) a day is perfect and with consistency you will see the gains just not as fast as a full serving. A few things to watch out for is bloating which should not be an issue if you break the servings/scoops throughout the day and keep moving/being active as well because with mass gainers (at least for me) it tends to slow my digestion and eating whole foods/meals becomes complicated because your body gets used to being full off of liquids and your bowels are not solid, but a bit loose. Therefore, in my experience it is a perfect mass gainer for a quick weight gain but definitely DO NOT make it a long term supplement if you are able to and begin to invest in the whole/real foods/meals to take the place of this. But everyone is different. For me, this would work possibly for a season through out the year and just maintain with actual food and supplementing with the creatine and glutamine separately. I don’t get it. This weighs over 5 1/2lbs and there’s only 7 servings? Yep. You need to mix 6 of those large near 1 full cup size scoops into a glass with 2 cups of liquid. I would choke on this. It will be so thick it will be like drinking cement. 1 scoop of this almost fits into a 1 cup measuring cup. You need to fit 6 of them into a drinking cup. This is so gross. How do they expect you to drink that much thick powder in 1 serving and then expect to be happy when the 5 1/2lb container is gone in 7 days and you need to buy another. This is going to cost as much as a car payment monthly. There is no returns so not sure what to tell you. I tried mixing half a cup measurement and it won’t mix and is all clumpy like seen in pic 2. I’ll erase this review if they refund me. I’ve never seen a powder that requires you to drink 6 huge cups of powder in 1 serving and expect not to choke or get sick. This measuring cop included is huge. Plus it has sucralose in it which is why people that use these powders have to run to bathroom all day. Sucralose puts water in your intestines like magnesium does or milk of magnesia . Not happy with this purchase. My last stuff I bought required 1 scoop half this size a day or with meals. That container lasted me a month. This one would be gone in 7 days and have to buy weekly for this price. No thanks :( ... show more

I’ve been using the Mass Gainer MuscleTech 100% Mass Gainer Protein Powder for a few months now, and here’s my take on it: Effectiveness (3/5): It does help with muscle gain, but not as dramatically as I’d hoped. I’ve put on about 8 pounds of lean mass, which is decent, but not mind-blowing. If you’re looking for rapid results, this might not be the best choice. Taste (3/5): The chocolate flavor is pretty good, but it can get a bit overwhelming. Mixing it with oatmeal for breakfast works well, but be prepared for a lot of liquid – it’s quite filling. Digestion and Bloating (2/5): Unfortunately, I experienced some bloating. Breaking down the servings throughout the day helped, but it still slowed down my digestion.
