I waited a while to review this product because I really wanted to gauge its efficacy in my hydration routine. After using it for the past 3 months, I can solidly say it's a game changer for my hydration and energy needs. I weightlift 3-4x per week at fairly intense levels. Because of this, I often sweat and have trouble feeling hydrated, even when drinking water throughout my lifts. I'm not a gatorade fan due to the artificial flavors, so when I found this unflavored electrolyte product I can add to water easily?! I was sold. Taste-wise, it's great! It reminds me of Arrowhead spring water; mineral-y, but really not bad at all. I also appreciate using the low sodium version, as I feel I get enough salt from other areas of my diet. I don't use this daily for hydration; only after intense workouts or if it happens to be a day where I'm feeling really dehydrated despite drinking lots of water. First off, I’ve not been able to test the effectiveness of this yet while working in hot weather or anything. Purchased this as I’ve frequently leached myself of electrolytes from drinking tons of water in the heat, causing the day to end in a massive piercing headaches that last for hours. But I have tried it in passing and the one thing to be known is the taste. It’s very similar to drinking soft water, mineral water, or water with faint salty flavor (and it would considering the minerals it has in it). However, even so, I prefer this to other electrolyte drinks as there’s no sugar, additional unnecessary ingredients, or offensive flavors. I think it’s something one could get used to unless you despise mineral water. If it’s an issue, one could also defuse some fruit in the water to help mask the mineral taste. Only downside is that it has far less electrolyte and mineral quantities than other brands like Dr. Berg. But there’s probably no way to duplicate the high amounts of electrolytes/minerals without a major salty/mineral taste and some sort of added flavoring to mask that. ... show more

These are so easy to use and keep with you and help with hydration while fasting. I don’t like sweet electrolytes and these aren’t sweet. They are a little salty but that’s easy to get used to. I have recommended these to many friends at the gym.

I was excited when I ran into this product. I got one for me and one for my father. I don't have any reactions to this product but I just don't find it to work as well as good old Pedialyte. My father on the other hand had a really hard time taking this. I'm not exactly sure what he was feeling because I didn't feel it but he complained a lot about it.
