Updated to say that after having these for a few weeks, i think these don't actually get hot in the microwave as I originally thought. So I raised my rating to 4 stars. They have been chip resistant so far, but they don't fit well in the dishwasher ( they fall over, so I have to space them farther apart so they don't bang I to each other). The pasta bowls were packed well and arrived in very good condition--no chips or cracks. They also arrived in just a few days. I can't speak to the durability since they just arrived. The designs are beautiful both on the inside and outside of the bowls, but they are not as deep blue as the pictures online. They also get VERY hot in the microwave, even where the bowl isn't in contact with the food that is being heated. I really dislike that aspect bc they are advertised as being ceramic, and i understand that ceramic does not get hot to the touch in the microwave (maybe i am wrong?). They get hot in the microwave the same way stoneware does. I decided to keep these anyway; I hope I don't regret it later. ... show more

Been slowly purchasing each style wasn’t planning to but I find I really like these and the colors make me happy. I originally purchased these to match my Anthropology serving bowls I spent a small fortune on and these are just as pretty for a fraction of the cost. I love a big salad, and these bowls are the perfect size. It is also great for pasta, and stew as well, but it is the perfect size for my salads. Love the designs, and porcelain dishes seem to be more durable in the dishwasher, and not chip; not the case for the ceramic dishes I had to stop using.
