My husband broke one of my constantly used yellow plastic bowls and I really missed it! So to Amazon I went, looking for more. Couldn't find them! So I looked again, measured to make sure what size I needed - and kept coming back to these bowls. Besides being available in exactly the size I was looking for (24 oz.), I liked their appearance. Each time we want to microwave something, we have to drag out another paper plate or bowl. But . . . you CAN microwave in these bowls! There is nothing "hazardous" in the bowls. And they can be popped into the dishwasher. And!!! They are not breakable. Okay . . . what's not to like about them?! Good-looking, deep, microwaveable, dishwasher safe, unbreakable, nothing hazardous in them, reasonably priced, light-weight and nice, warm colors. It's a win-win several times over! ... show more

My sister and her kids live with my mom and for some reason none of them invest in dishes, so I try and get them some every once in a while. They need bowls they can't break because the kids are reckless and their old ones were pretty stained from sauces and fruit juices. I love these because they aren't straight up plastic and are very durable. They're also super pretty and seem a lot more stain resistant. Exactly what they need ... show more
