Long term durability is unknown but the unit feels adequate for holding my meaty laser level. Packaging (and/or shipping) was weak as one was a little bent.

    • Smooth and lock in position tight
Have a unique setup with a short throw projector aiming down for tracing images onto wood. These are great for getting the angle just right. Ball and socket is smooth and locks tight. I am not using a very heavy projector, but I suspect these would be fine for a larger one or a decent size camera.

At the time of this review I found that these are the best value mount adapters available on amazon. The mounts are sturdy and hold to their tightened positions. I bought two 2-packs, and for under $20 in total it was a steal. I use 3 of my mount adapters for webcam lighting at my desk. Once installed I never have had to touch them again.     • Don't use these for your off camera flash
I thought these would be good to use with a standard off camera flash but throughout the event the flash constantly sagged. Eventually after 5-6 uses the plastic cracked from over-tightening.
