I tried some of the cheaper tripods and they each just kept getting bent or broken. These are much stronger and more adjustable. They are still very light so not indestructible, but so much better. This is a nice, sturdy tripod! great for phones, smaller cameras and the like. I wouldn't put a bigger camera with a heavy lens on here just because it's a very lightweight tripod and might fall easier than others but I used it for my recent podcast and it worked fantastically for me.

This is why I love amazon. You find a product like this that compares to equivalent items costing over $200. It's got great height scale and it's sturdy. The quick release works great. All of the adjustments and locks actually snap down tight and hold. Still amazed at the price. Used it for my spotting scope and it's awesome.
