I tried some of the cheaper tripods and they each just kept getting bent or broken. These are much stronger and more adjustable. They are still very light so not indestructible, but so much better. This is a nice, sturdy tripod! great for phones, smaller cameras and the like. I wouldn't put a bigger camera with a heavy lens on here just because it's a very lightweight tripod and might fall easier than others but I used it for my recent podcast and it worked fantastically for me.

For an inexpensive tripod it is well built, has lots of good features: sandbag hook (small bag), crank up/down for more control/security from slipping, 1 quick release head and a spare, sturdy for the size. I may use this in place of my pro travel pod since it is sturdy, lightweight, has a carry handle without the bag and is so much easier to deploy than my pro unit. ... show more
