I just got myself this Victiv 74" Camera Tripod, man; it's way nothing close to what I will have expected. The material to be used is excellent, simply because it can be lightweight with great robustness, thus easier to carry anywhere. Feels great for both the DSLR and my cell phone. Extremely versatile—that adjustable height is a bloody game-changer when trying to capture a shot pretty much from any angle really. For the price, the tripod is ok. It is strong enough to hold my spotting scope and fairly sturdy. The only problem is the up and down motion is very sticky. It is hard to get it to the right position. I am hoping some silicon spray will improve it. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I tried some of the cheaper tripods and they each just kept getting bent or broken. These are much stronger and more adjustable. They are still very light so not indestructible, but so much better. For how cheap the tripod is I am over the moon for it. We got it for our projector and it's amazing. Tons of height adjustments and very sturdy. We were very impressed. Compact and light. Definitely recommend if your looking for a tripod.

I have purchased many tripods. All of them had some problems. Most of them were wobbly and did were difficult to operate. This tripod is AWESOME! It is very sturdy, easy to use, and will last for the rest of my videography lifetime. I can finally stop buying tripods and hoping that they work. Used this for recording and I love the quality of the build and how solid it feels. The tripod came with extras and a sling bag, all of which makes it a good buy. I think for my use, it worked well in balance and angling. Adjustments were easy. And while a small touch, the chrome orange color really helps this stand out among my other tripods! ... show more

Took it hiking, took it on un event surfaces and it held up. The bag has a short sling so you can technically carry but it’s not too comfortable. It’s not terribly heavy but it’s sturdy. Quick release plates came with 2 so that’s great. Lost the washer for the handle that lets you move it, still works fine. Very happy with it. ... show more
