  • You get more than you pay for with this one.
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
I just needed a super cheap tripod that was light and small to pack around, but would still elevate my phone a reasonable distance off the ground. I was dubious on how the quality for the price would be, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I've been using it pretty steadily for a couple of months outside and indoors for holding my phone and it's been great. (You do need to buy a phone holder separately.) For under $20 it's been a fantastic deal. it's small enough that it drops into my pack, and light enough that I don't notice it's there at all. Again, it's fantastic for the price. 5-stars for the utility to price ratio. It's not 5-star performance, If you need super durability and smooth adjustability you need to pay up for that, but if you just need a quick, cheap tripod to hold a phone this thing is great. The bag that comes with it is decent too and has held up fine. There's room enough in the bag that I can toss in my phone gripper mount along with the tripod. ... show more

  • Amazing Tripod!
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
This camera tripod comes at an amazing price! It is sturdy and lightweight and easy to set up. I don't use a tripod very much but because I'm now taking celestial photographs I needed one.

  • Great tripod for the price!
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
This tripod is like that one friend who's always up for an adventure, but secretly wants to go home early. It's lightweight and easy to carry, but don't expect it to hold up your DSLR like a pro wrestler. It's more like a gentle yoga instructor, guiding your camera into a stable pose. The quick-release plate is a bit temperamental, like a cat chasing a laser pointer. Sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it's like, "Nope, not today." But hey, for the price, it's a decent sidekick for your photography escapades. Just don't expect it to save you from a spontaneous bear attack. ... show more

  • Bought this in 2017 and still the best Tripod in 2025
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
This is hands down the best tripod for all normal scenarios. It's so lightweight, about 1lb, 0.5kG, 500 grams, better than selfie stick phone tripods. I use this for DSLR with heavy lens and works just fine. Its easy to carry around. Recently I am doing more phone photography, astro photography and was looking for a phone tripod. After trying various; went back to this 50 inch Amazon Basics tripod. Phone tripods look cute, but flimsy, tip over with slight win and break the phone. This tripod is lighter like other carbon fiber etc. tripods for a very low price. Highly recommend this. I bought it originally in 2017 and after 8 years, regular use, its still going strong. ... show more

  • Lightweight and Easy to Carry... Yet Sturdy!
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
Tremendous value on a small metal telescoping leg tripod! Very lightweight and easy to carry, yet sturdy, steady and stable. Basic functionality that works very well. Another 5 Star Amazon Basics product.

  • Solid for a lightweight. HATE the mounting plate.
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
Pretty solid for a tripod in this class (not heavy duty parts). Adjustments seem solid, decent height, and the head adjustments stay put with little "camera drop" after you tighten them. You don't have to point the camera up 10° to get it to settle where you actually want it. Pleasant surprise. Just a tad too large to toss in a smaller backpack. But I hate (hate hate) the mounting plate. It stays on the camera, so the quick release means you have a wobbly base on your camera that can block the battery door. I like to Velcro my lens cap to the bottom of the camera (great top) but now I can't. I would have returned it because of this and looked for one with the standard screw mount, but I needed it past the 30 days. It's good quality, but that plate will grind my gears every time I use it. ... show more

  • Inexpensive but flimsy
Color: Champagne Size: 50-Inch
Flimsy. Had a hard time holding camera with telephoto lense in position. Inexpensive and lightweight - probably a good value for a cellphone. Not for anything with heft.

  • Impressed
Color: Gray Size: 60-Inch
I am very impressed with this tripod! I love the functionality, sturdiness, and the adjustments it offers. I highly recommend this product. It doesn't come with instructions so you'll have to loosen and tighten each knob to see how it works. It took me about 10 minutes to figure it out. It's pretty easy. ... show more
