This is hands down the best tripod for all normal scenarios. It's so lightweight, about 1lb, 0.5kG, 500 grams, better than selfie stick phone tripods. I use this for DSLR with heavy lens and works just fine. Its easy to carry around. Recently I am doing more phone photography, astro photography and was looking for a phone tripod. After trying various; went back to this 50 inch Amazon Basics tripod. Phone tripods look cute, but flimsy, tip over with slight win and break the phone. This tripod is lighter like other carbon fiber etc. tripods for a very low price. Highly recommend this. Glad I bought this for my projector instead of having 17 books on my nightstand in the middle of my room. It took some playing around with to figure out how to adjust everything, but it’s sturdy, cheap and I like that you can adjust the legs to different sizes for uneven set ups. Best quality tripod I’ve had yet!! Honestly I’ve gone through 2 tripods within 1 year and it sucks when it’s ether to flimsy or wobbly and breaks on you but this one holds really well I love when I can also take my camera off the tripod without unscrewing it it’s super stable size is person and really good price!! I’d honestly wouldn’t expect it being good especially cause it’s Amazon brand but I guess it is lol ... show more

Very flimsy. Made of lightweight material, so easy to carry. However the mechanism to position the scope (left, right,up,down) is not useful. Does not move smoothly, lots of ‘play’ once positioned, and overall really tough to get a good lock. Look elsewhere- spend the money for a good tripod.

I had this tripod for years! It was WONDERFUL. It was a little too light on windy days but still worked very well. The last year I had it, I had left it outside too many times and it was getting rusted, got a little too hard to move it around and extend it to its full size. 10000000000% would buy again.
