I got this because I get those itchy scaly patches on my head that look like dandruff. Just using dandruff shampoo wasn't doing the trick and my hair was getting oily faster and my scalp worse. This product came up on a Google search and I got it. I use it a little more than gently (but not aggressive or vigorously) when I shampoo, esp in those spots.
