Features

  • Upgraded Large Airflow: The newly upgraded fireplace fan is made of premium aluminum components and adopts a dual-chip design, which provides a longer, more stable and durable motor. It can reach an airflow of 250 CFM
  • Premium Quality: Our wood stove fan is made of high-quality anodized aluminum, which is rust-proof and has excellent thermal conductivity. The dual-chip design makes the motor more durable and efficient. It is larger in size and heavier than other ordinary fans on the market, making it more sturdy and durable, Our stove fan can increase the speed of room heating by 45%
  • Upgraded 2-blade Design: The Large size 2-blade design reduces the resistance of the motor, further improves the performance and prolongs the life of the motor, and it's heavier, sturdier, and more efficient than a normal 4-blade fan
  • Less consumption and Economical: No batteries or electricity needed, our Wood Stove Fan is powered by heat generated from the stove. When the stove temperature reaches a certain range, the fan will start rotating automatically. Through the rapid rotation of the fan, the warm air will circulate quickly in the room, making you feel warmer. It can help you save you up to 18% in fuel with more efficient distribution of heat from your wood stove
  • Ultra-Quiet Motor Operating: As the blades are the only moving components, even at the highest speed, the operational noise of the log burner fan is lower than 25 db. You may not even feel the presence of the furnace fan, but you will still sense a gentle breeze. The rotation of the fan facilitates air circulation, circulating heat to all around and making you feel warmer

  • Works great! Here's what I think you need to know before buying. UPDATE ADDED
Size: Large
Update 9/10/24: I love this fan so much that I've decided to come back and buy another. Why? My thought is that if I have 2, both facing slightly angled away from the heat source, that the kitchen and hallway/bedrooms will heat up faster. The price has also dropped a few dollars since I bought it last year. Buy it and follow the advice below and I suspect you'll be as happy as I am with this fan. I currently have the single fan on the rear center of my cast iron fireplace. Once the second fan arrives, I'm going to put them both in the center but have the left one angled a bit to the left and the right one angled a bit to the right, thus spreading out the wave of heat as it moves across the room and through the house. Original review December 12, 2023: I looked at a lot of fans and a lot of reviews. Came to the conclusion that a lot of people who complained the fans (from various manufacturers) didn't move didn't seem to understand that heat rises, so the fan must be placed above the heat source. After figuring that out, I thought about propellers and heat movement. Perhaps 2 longer blades would start moving quicker than 5 short blades? Could longer blades move more air? That's why I purchased this one (and it is the only one I needed to purchase). I played around with positioning it on the top of my standalone propane stove/fireplace. Found the sweet spot for movement and left it there. It's moving so fast you can't see the blades. This is the first morning of heating up the house in the morning with this fan on. I left the ceiling fan off to see how long it would take. The stove is in the family room which is about 16x20 feet. In about a hour and a half the kitchen thermostat was up to 69 degrees F. Our furnace keeps the house at around 63 degrees overnight and then the fireplace does the rest during the day. I wanted to test with just this fan in the event of a power outage. Very doable to warm this place up without electricity. I know that if I turn the ceiling fan on the house will quickly warm up into the 70's. For me, a secondary, non-electric source of air movement was important since we live in an area that gets regular snow and can be quite cold. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. A recommendation to other shoppers looking for a non-electric fan for air movement: don't assume a fan is bad based on people complaining IF they do not tell you where they placed the fan in their particular circumstances. I saw one person place the fan on the hearth in front of their fireplace rather than on the mantle. Remember that heat rises. Place whatever fan you purchase above the heat source. That heat source will need to get quite warm/hot before the fan will move. It is the heat that creates the movement. The person who placed the fan in front of the fireplace solved their lack of movement issue by placing a cast iron pan into the fire, heating it up, then placing it on the hearth and putting the fan on that. Then they got movement. Also, people complained that their chosen fan didn't move much air. These fans aren't designed to act like regular room fans. They are just gently moving heat further away from the heat source out into the room and subsequently into connecting rooms. It's a fairly slow process but I've found that it does work. Another thought is that some people complained their fans broke in only a few weeks or months. Question if those people have an open fireplace where ash can get drawn into the fan mechanism and clog it. I'm sure some fans out there are crappy, so the information I've provided won't be foolproof with every fan. But I think it'll help you with your selection. Also, I chose not to go with the cheapest fan, assuming the crappier versions were likely to cost under $20. My philosophy is buy it once and it lasts for decades if you do the proper research and think it through before purchasing. I'll try to remember to post an update next heating season. This fan will be used quite a bit this winter. My heat source is propane so there is no ash. But will it leave any kind of residue on the mechanism? Time will tell. I may also take it off one morning when it's cold and blow air across the mechanism with my hair dryer set on cold to blow out anything that might cause eventual slowing of the blades. Almost everything requires some sort of maintenance to keep working well. Good luck in your search for your best fan choice. ... show more

  • wood stove fan

It’s an interesting device. I thought it might be a bit larger but it really goes to town turning. I find it fascinating. I’m thinking of getting another one so as to have both sides of my wood stove covered. Arrive d fast and well packaged.

  • Very quiet
Size: Medium
Wasn't sure how this work for my hot tent stove but I am impressed so far. It doesn't push the air around in big fashion, but it is supposed to distribute the heat and it does a good job at that. If you are thinking this will be like a regular fan and blow hard. . . It will not. It is very quiet, so you are not listening to a squeaky fan all night or during the day. ... show more

  • Very well made
Size: Medium
This started turning while my four blade fans were just sitting! It doesn't move a huge amount of air but any is better than none. Silent operation! I'm impressed!

  • Waste of Money
Size: Large
The media could not be loaded. I had a roaring fire in my fireplace and it was barely moving. There was no air being pushed. By the time I got my camera out, it stopped moving completely. We had a warm fall and I didn't build a fire within Amazon's short return window to find out this product doesn't work. I'm fed up with these junk products sold on Amazon and not having a fair amount of time to use it and return it when it doesn't work. ... show more

  • Loved the detailed instruction leaflet and thermometer!
Size: Medium
This fan is very quiet and though I don't 'feel' heat blowing off the fan when sitting nearby, it does change the air flow in my small ranch home and raise the temperature in the rooms down the hall. The instruction leaflet explains how to increase the life of the fan.

  • Gets the job done- amazing price!
Size: Medium
This 6 blade stove fan has been a heaven sent discovery. We hear our home using fire stoves and before the fan, we’ve always wondered why we still need to wear housecoats. Well, after we purchased these fans, we feel the heat much more. I appreciate that I no longer feel warmer standing up than sitting down on the couch. The fans are blowing the heat in a straight lateral direction instead of rising. It has made all the difference for us. I can comfortably sit on my couch and feel the direction of heat. The technology is that it’s non electric and uses magnetic thermometer to push hot air circulation. As a result, there’s efficient air circulation throughout the house. ... show more
