There were too many screws to connect that could have already been done. The fitment isn't the greatest but it gets the job done. I've only had a chance to use it twice but I'm confident it gonna be money well spent.

Kind of does what it's meant for. It's alot smaller than the picture makes it out to be. The heat doesn't defeat as much as you would think. If the cost was any higher it would be a waste of money.

    • Doesn't really work on my heater

This directional heat shield doesn't really work on my heater. The lip of the top radiator disc does not allow this heat shield to clamp on properly. I'm trying to figure out if I can modify the heat shield in some way to actually be able to use it. I'm sure it would radiate heat if I could get it mounted on the heater. The product is very inexpensively made. The heat shield is very thin aluminum. It's not the highest polished material , but I don't know if it has to be. It's a heat shield, not a mirror. The mounting brackets are pretty cheap aluminum as well. They attach to the heat shield tightly, but as I said, they then do not clamp to the top of my heater well. I don't have any experience with other heaters so I don't know if it's a problem with the product or I just bought the wrong heat shield for my heater. I'm sure I can couple together something to make it work, but if you're looking for something that's going to work right out of the package, this probably won't be it. ... show more

Great price. Easy to set up. Light and will bend easily if not careful. Does not hang totally perpendicular on the rim .
