I've previously had problems with all my buddy heaters safety tubing plugging up with propane gunk. This unit has none, and is as reliable as a propane torch. It does a nice job of heating up a small space, but I wouldn't use it in a tent or vehicle, because it can project a lot of heat straight out from the parabolic reflector. After a few uses, I decided to keep a fire extinguisher handy. This heater is what I wanted, but it might not suit your uses. I can't give it 5 stars, because the user needs to have a working brain, to be totally safe. I love it, because I can throttle it down to low heating levels. Yes, the flame can go out at low heat, but it should always be attended, and you can shut it off or relight it. It is way better than Mr Heater and all it's clogged plumbing, if you keep an eye on it. ... show more

Works great. Bought for my husband as he is a hunter and it throws some heat now. Not sure how safe it will be, seems very tipsy to me, but as long as you have even ground it should be ok. Will definitely warm you up!

So easy and so simple to set up. Just be careful and don't let any combustible material paper or cloth too close to it. But there's nobody here but me so I take care of everything. And it will warm up a room. You just simply turn the knob to turn the flame up or down. I ordered one of those Mr heater Mr buddies. Don't get it. Cannot get it to light press the button very inconvenient finally come on but that's all. And that caused twice as much as this simple Mr heater. I ordered two more of these Mr haters I love him. I don't want no Mr Buddy anything. They can take Mr Buddy stuff and stick it up Mr Buddy's rear ... show more

    • WORKS IN MY GOLF CART
Works fine in my golf cart. Used the tank adapter that fits in the cup holder. It was loose so doubled over a micro fiber cloth to take up the slack in the cup holder. Works great holds the tank and the heater securely. Easy to light (if the fricken lighter works!). Golf cart inclosed but plenty of air circulation especially when underway. No igniters or pilot light to worry about and says lit when moving. Only real complaint that you can't adjust the angle to direct the heat to where you want it. Don't know how long a tank will last, however I refill my own. It appears very well made and hopefully it will last. Also it was about $50 less than the other ones you see on Amazon (that they tell you not to use in a golf cart). If the reflector was at a 90° angle instead of a 45° angle I would give it 5 stars for my use. Probably at 45° for floor mount. would recommend and buy again if the need arise. ... show more
