This accessibility scooter is pretty great my only complaints is that the seat isn't 100% solid unless you REALLY tighten that seat in. The beeps can be quite loud especially when reversing which bothers my mom but I feel it's necessary to be loud at the same time. The rear "reflectors" are just plastic and do NOT REFLECT any light so I suggest buying reflective tape or pads. This is a heavy scooter, the battery weighs more than the scooter itself. That being said it's always best to separate the battery from the scooter UNLESS you'd like to throw your back out carrying 100lbs every time. We bought this because of the size, my mom didn't like her compact one because it offered no foot room. This is a good size frame. Pro: good size at a good price Con: battery compartment arrived broken, when we asked for a replacement, they sent the wrong part, which took almost a month to arrive. We did eventually get the right part after much back & forth trying to explain what we needed (and another month for the part to arrive) So, if you need something from customer service, get Amazon involved and be patient with shipping. So it is easy to assemble and decently adjustable. It is also more than fast enough that said there are some issues with the listing not being true to the product and quality of the item but you get what you pay for. Also as mentioned by others the back up alarm/horn is very loud and of a frequency it hurts the ears of the users and those around them. We thought about returning it but being handy we decided to find the noise maker and remove it and improve the other issues. Taking care of the alarm was as simple as removing the screws holding the plastic on the neck and head together then splitting it apart and finding the plug marked "Buzzer". As the device itself was attached by Velcro we took the unit out. On mine it was on the left side of the plastic and is a small round disc with 2 wires coming out to the plug. It was like it was meant to come out. The seat post is very wobbly when assembled and fully tightened. It rocks back and forth as well as side to side so I had to put in a "shim" to prevent this. As I have lots of leather scrap on hand I added a piece then put it together at the height that best fit me. It would be hard to remove it again due to how tight it is now. BTW the seat itself that slips into this part fits fine but it is the part that slides in to adjust the overall height that is the problem Now we come to my real issue with the unit. It is advertised as having 4" of ground clearance when in fact the frame at the back only has 2 1?2" and to the anti-tip wheels it reduced to 1 1?2". This means the front will clear 4" then get hung up at the rear. Now I don't intend on driving over things that tall but the main reason I got this model was for the higher ground clearance for use on unpaved hard packed trails. As it is raining today we cannot go test it out to see how much a problem this is going to be however I felt it was important to say it does not have the ground clearance as claimed in the listing. I know removing that alarm likely voided any warranty this thing has but in the end it needed done or it would likely not get used. I also decided if anything goes wrong we are handy enough to fix it including sourcing a new motor and upgrading to bigger tires to gain a bit more off road ability without spending what a true off road scooter costs. Time will tell how useful it is as it came in the box but if it gets me out with the wife more it is worth every penny. Not to mention much like anything else it gives me a frame to modify should I choose to.. ... show more

I am quite satisfied with this scooter. It was mostly easy to assemble. Once the battery was fully charged, which took about four hours, the battery was problematic in that it was hard to align the connector pins, so it would seat properly. After working with it for nearly an hour and pushing it toward the rear of the scooter while it sat close to the seated position, it dropped into the connector and worked as it should. The larger wheels, longer range, extra foot room, are all the items that give this a better value than the smaller original. I would like to see extras such as a rear mounted basket like the Pride uses, and a sun shade canopy would be great. Yes, there are those options available for other brands that can be modified to use with this one but, it is additional work that most can't do. The media could not be loaded. (Charging it outside to see if gets some juice that’s why it’s outside) it was fully charged when we took it outside now it started blinking red after a few minutes. Do not recommend from the moment we received this scooter , it wouldn’t turn on for weeks ,we contacted them and they sent us a new one free of charge , now it doesn’t want to stay charged after being on charger over night . When you put the key in it turns all the way green we take it outside mind u it isn’t easy to take it out because of where we live it has to be carried outside do to the front steps we have . Once we get it outside after a few minutes it starts blinking red and have to bring it all the way back inside because battery will die . Paint chips all on the red parts , ware and rare is normal I understand , but my dad is disabled and in a course of having it for a few months he’s probably used it 4 times because he doesn’t go outside during the winter . We’ve had a terrible experience with this scooter just the whole quality is terrible . ... show more

I love this scooter!!! It fits easily into my Acadia SUV trunk. I am 74 years old and get around pretty well around the house and even stores. My problem was the fact that I like to take trips to historical sites and museums. I have arthritis in my back and this causes extreme pain. This scooter has changed this. I thank goodness that I decided to get the scooter. I used last weekend at an opening of a Revolutionary War fort and could really enjoy this trip for the first time in years.
