Features

  • GENTLE ON YOUR BLADES: Our knife guards are felt-lined so that they protect your knives integrity without marring their finish or dulling their blades as they slide in and out of the sheath.
  • SAFER, NON-BPA MATERIALS: Knife covers are constructed from ABS plastic, which unlike its common alternative PVC plastic, is non-BPA and non-toxic.
  • LONG-LASTING CONSTRUCTION: In addition to it being safer, we chose ABS plastic over PVC for our knife sleeves as it is harder, more resistant to abrasions, and has a higher impact strength. We also designed our knife sleeves to be thick, cut-proof, and more durable than thinner, flimsier edge guards
  • LONGER KNIFE BLADE SIZE: Knife protector is a great fit for longer-bladed knives, and is designed to fit most Santoku, chef, and bread knives. See dimensions below to determine if your specific knife set is well suited!
  • KNIFE SHEATH DIMENSIONS: 14 x 2.25 (1). (Knives Not Included)

  • Great cast protection
Cover for new knife

  • Perfect Fit!
I have a 14" bread knife that I got here on Amazon and I needed something to protect it and ME and this is the one! I read some other people said it didn't fit, but I disagree. My Kutler knife is a full 14" without the handle and you can see in the pics how it fits. The tip is not sticking out and no sharp part is exposed near the handle either. The knife goes in smoothly and I love how sturdy this thing feels. Now I feel safe! I will get another one for a knife I'm giving as a gift and I'm glad I don't have to look any further. Neither should you - buy this one! Great quality at a terrific price. Very nice! ... show more

  • These work well - Fit well - Durable and well made
The title of my review says it all. This is a good product and a good value. It is important for safety and to protect delicate knife edges. We have some thin Japanese knives. These edges are a bit fragile if they fall or get knocked. I don't have to worry as much about that. We have a very long blade for slicing brisket and we were able to order a size that fits well. ... show more

  • Not quite 14 Inches
Unfortunately, this blade guard is only 13.75 inches instead of a full 14 inches long. My knife has an exactly 14 inch blade. Also, because of the way the handle curves on the blade, even more than .25 inches of the blade is exposed (about .5 inches) near the handle when in the blade guard. I could cut a matching curve in the blade guard to form fit with the handle, but then I would have .25 inches of blade sticking out the front. It sure would be nice if they would make a 15 inch blade guard to adequately handle 14 inch bladed knives. I will probably try to 3D print an extension that attaches to the blade guard. ... show more
