We just received this trash can for recycling cans in blue and I love it especially the lid which is so convinient to use when in a rush. The size is slim to fit in narrow spaces, and taller than most, tall enough to fit a big trash bag with 23 gallons. I just wished that they also made in other softer colors, like light grey, beige or cream and even off-white to have in the kitchen without being so noticeable. Green would be nice too. Electric blue and black are convinent so they do look dirty and they don't need to be cleaned often, but they're an eye sore! Convinient but not pretty... I need another one for plastics, but I really don't want to get a black one... On a very positive side, now my husband and son have no excuse to not see it with this bright electric blue color and put their soda cans there, lol! But when guests come, I'm going to hide it under the stairs closet. But it's just so convinient to have this can next to our regular trashcan. I still highly recommend it because it's tall and slim plus with an easy to use lid, and nobody can miss it in that blue color. ... show more

Works perfect in my kitchen for a weeks worth of recycling items - was looking for one with a lid & this one does not disappoint! I had a smaller bin in my kitchen but had to take it out several times in one week to empty into the street bin - this way the night before recycling is picked up I take this out & dump its content into the street bin & then place the street bin at curbside.
