I only use this product on my ends only now. I used it on my root area, especially my crown, and it made my dandruff 1,000 times worse. I guess this product removes oils, kind of like a dry shampoo, but it’s way more intense. Also, leaves a build up u can feel if u spray too much. It does add body to my ends.     • Totally Love it - Not a health friendly fragrance
Short: it's great, it gives volume, it gives texture, it sprays on evenly and easily. Definitely has a scent. Longer: My hair type: 1 A, B, C mix (super straight). Very fine but a ton of hairs. Normal to oily. Super low porosity. Never chemically treated. Blow dry only 2x a week. I thought I was buying the foam and was bummed when I got the spray but it's BETTER than the foam for what I want: Texture and volume and messy. It's great! I have a chin length bob and this is great for giving it oomph and style! I've been using it for about a month now, no more than once a week, and it's been such a fun addition to my hair routine! My stylist said to avoid using it in conjunction with dry shampoo too often because of the drying quality and I have to say I totally agree with her based on how it feels on my hair. The scent is way to invasive for me. I DO NOT like fragrance in my products for health reasons and this spray is LOADED with it. The scent isn't unpleasant, but to my nose it smells like chemicals.     • It's the only product that works on fine hair
I've been using it for years on my dreadfully fine hair. It's expensive. It has a neutral scent, one that i wish smelled better. I use the Unite line: the conditioner, texture spray, and the root powder. All together, this is the best working line for fine hair.

Does it work as a dry texture spray? Yes. Does it dry your hair out? Also, yes. I find that it will help hold my curls, but is very drying. The next day, I notice it the most when I’m brushing my hair out. For comparison, I normally use Navy & Kristin Ess dry texture sprays.
