    • Makes my hair feel dirty, but it works!
This mousse works on my anemia-thinned hair and is reasonably priced. It makes my hair look and feel thicker. However, it's pretty sticky, so it makes it hard to brush through (so be gentle or you'll stretch/snap/break your hair). I also notice that my hair feels dirty a lot faster when I use this, which makes sense because it's depositing something onto your hair to make it fuller. I used to use the Got2b Fattastic mousse which was discontinued, and this product was recommended as the replacement. It is not at all the same as that mousse, so if you're looking for an equivalent, you're out of luck. In general though: Pros: - Definitely adds volume. I have very fine, straight hair and I could tell a big difference in using this vs not. - Smells great! Cons: - It did make my hair crunchy, which my old mousse did not. - It foamed fine at first but then after a few weeks lost its foaming ability? It came out in runny liquid form. I could still feel that there was a ton in the bottle, so it wasn't just low. I had to throw it away with what felt like a little less than half the product still remaining. ... show more

So i kind of got away from hair products, or hair care (except for shampoo & conditioner) and letting it air dry or pulling into a ponytail during the two yrs when COVID was first announced & ppl were staying in. My hair grew faster during that time that ever in my life!! it was halfway down my back w a lot of grays, to brown to leftover blonde-not a good look. So i finally got 7 inches chopped off & had it professionally done & colored & needed some kind of product to actually style it. My hair is very fine & thin w some wave in it. This thickening/volumizing mousse was perfect & a little goes a long way. The smell is great..very lightly scented, somewhere between a light fruity scent and just a fresh clean smell, & it didn't seem to stay in my hair long. But it did give long lasting body/volume & made my hair lots easier to manage & style especially w the new cut. I would recommend this to anyone looking for more volume and body, or w curly or wavy hair to help scrunch them up. only drawback-it did get a little bit "crunchy" when i let it air dry but if i blew it dry even for a few minutes it was soft. Yeah, it’s expensive but works so much better than store bought moose. Feels cleaner and you can control the amount dispensed.
