I’ve actually never used melting spray before. So, I have nothing to compare it too. Where I live is very hot and humid. The melting spray holds up on walks to work in the morning. I wear my band on the way there and let my hair dry down a little before taking it off. I would do the same thing if it’s extremely hot and humid on the way back. It’s not going to last for days but it will for several hours if that’s all you need. Think of it like lash glue but for your hair. It will last under the right conditions for a little while, and if you know how to finesse it. As long as you’re not tugging on it it will stay in place fine. On a good lace it melts beautifully and there is no white residue. I don’t spray it directly on. I dab it because it will run, but it’s easy to use and I’m not a stylist. Far from it. There could be better sprays out there but this one is good if you don’t have access to them or if you need something that won’t break the bank. ... show more

The product works but at some point I couldn’t get it open and it spilled every where and the sprayer is not good the it just went all over my forehead didn’t stay in place too runny.

The product is great. However the packaging could have been better. The lid is stuck on the spray nozzle so I have to remove the entire thing to use the product

    • I don’t like the holding spray

So I finally tried the holding spray after having it forever and I don’t like the melting spray. I do not like it. It gives you build up immediately and I’m talking. I used such a little tiny amount and it got really crusty really quick.
