This Black Ultraloq Deadbolt Cover Plate is constructed of stainless steel and comes in matching finishes for your Ultraloq UL3 or UL3 BT. You can use it if you replace your current deadbolt with a UL3. It's designed to cover up the holes left by previous deadbolts beautifully, on both the front and the back side.

    • Works pretty well, but assembled wrong
I used this with a HARFO HL99 PRO. I'm using this plate to cover the extra hole in my door which was intended for a deadbolt. As another reviewer mentioned, it fits pretty well with slight modification. You'll need to drill 1 hole through both plates using the template provided with the lock. It's thick steel, so you'll need a decent drill bit. The thing that bothers me about this product is it's assembly. Each of the two plates is cut out using a stamping process, which leaves a rounded edge on one side and a sharp edge on the other side. Generally, you'd want to assemble this with the sharp edge away from hands (towards the door). One of the plates works this way, but the other doesn't. The one that has the threaded stud on it has to have the stud inward towards the other plate for installation, but that means the sharp edge is towards a hand. I don't think this is a huge safety issue, but it's disappointing nonetheless. ... show more

Overall, excellent buy. Have had the Ultraloq for 6 months now and can’t tell you how easy it is to use and install. All in the family are relieved to not having to carry home keys anymore. The fingerprint reader has worked seamlessly up to now, with very fast response. One of my kids uses the code entry and has never complained about it. I use the bluetooth function seldomly, but works well. Just recently, after 6 months of daily use in a family of 4, I got the first low battery alert. Changing batteries was also essy. I also bought the backplate which installed easily. I’m thinking about expanding to other umtraloq entry systems soon. ... show more

I did not realize the Ultraloq that I ordered would not cover the dead bolt hole that was pre drilled in my new garage door. There was not anything I saw on the support site that assisted me but found this from a Google search. The installation was ok because I am an experienced DIYer, but would be more challenging for a rookie. ... show more

If you got an Ultralog and have a previous deadbolt that about 6-7 inches apart from your lock, then you need these. You will have to give up your deadbolt and got it covered. They are designed to go with the the Ultralog and make it looks nice on your door even you have a hole.

Meh... right color and size. Needed to modify it as it has a weird hangy down piece that prevents the lock from mounting properly and it had holes where they weren't needed and none where they were and the screws that came with it didn't all fit.

Covered the old deadbolt perfectly so we could put the new lock on. Was an easy install and only required a simple screwdriver. Great item if you want to just use the UL3 BT and not have a door knob and a deadbolt. This is perfect!
