I was surprised to see I’ve owned this over 11 months already. I have the Queen 700 fill. It is holding its fluff and shape and comfort. Very high quality. But I have to say I did have to return one of two I purchased originally due to a persisting odor. The second one was just fine, no odor at all. So I held off on reviewing to see how this would hold up. 11 months later it is still as big and fluffy and comfortable as I remember it new. I sleep on all sides through the night and I find the center is the right height when on my side, and the edges are better (less high) when I roll face down or up. Keeps the shape I mold it to. One more thing I notice: it makes a difference what case you put it in. It needs a big enough pillow case to let air in when fluffing. I recently bought new cases and they fit a bit too tightly, and this seems to compress the pillow too much. I’ll have to find a better case as this pillow is pretty bulky when fully fluffed, except my current case prevents it fully fluffing. ... show more

    • It’s like sleeping on the cloud - a true 100% down pillow

Queen size. Arrived on zipped bag, no vacuum sealed, just zipped. But we still threw it for 40 mins in the dryer on low heat cycle before the first use anyway. They came out very very fluffed. So we placed them in 600 cotton thread pillow protector and in a pillow case on top. Results - wonderful! No strange smell, just a light crinkle (mostly from tags, as I kept tags in case we won’t like). It has a medium firmness (so if you used to a brick lumpy feeling of memory foam or like sleep sitting up, probably not for you) and a big change from feather/down pillows. This is perfect-just the right combination of firmness and softness. Pillow bounces back within seconds, no feathers to poke you, gives good neck support (we are side sleepers), doesn’t get hot, and has airy feeling of sleeping on a cool cloud. Very good quality overall. All seams done well. Highly recommend. Won’t be returning these. ... show more

    • An Outstanding Soft Down Pillow

I will only sleep on 100% down pillows with cotton covers. I don't like feathers, memory foam (either whole or shredded) or any type of synthetic material. My prior pillow was 100% down in a cotton cover, with a cotton pillow protector underneath my cottton pillowcase. But after 8 years of use, both the pillow and the cover were irreparably stained, and the down no longer had the ability to fluff up like it had in the past. Thus begun my hunt for a new down pillow that met all of my expectations. Well, I am happy to report that my search was successful! In fact, I purchased two different standard-sized 100% down pillows, and I am thrilled with each of them. This pillow has an amazingly large fill of soft, clean goose down and a gorgeous, soft cotton cover. These pillows are not inexpensive. Quality costs money, and when you realize that you will use the pillow every night for years, the cost for each night of great sleep seems quite small. A brief caution is necessary for those who want a firm pillow. Look at other pillows (that is, pillows that are not 100% down). Leave the down pillows for the soft pillow enthusiasts. ... show more

I purchased this pillow based upon the reviews, and I will say that it is a well made pillow and well worth the money. That said, my issue with it, and the reason for the three stars, is that it is just not firm enough. It is described as being extra firm and having a firm density for side sleepers, which I am. Unfortunately, it is far too soft for me. I'd describe the pillow as being "medium to medium soft", certainly not firm. and definitely not extra firm which is a shame because otherwise I like the pillow. If you truly need an "firm or "extra firm" pillow, look elsewhere. I am returning mine. ... show more

Those pillows are a slice of heaven !!! I've only had them for a day, slept on them one night. But what a difference !!! I woke up on my own, earlier then normal, feeling rested and refreshed. They kept me cool, and comfortable. No tossing and turning, pummeling the pillows. Love that they are so light, yet so substantial. Those are not thin, wimpy pillows at all. 100% adequate for side sleepers, but I sleep in all positions and I was comfortable all night. The price is not bad at all if you consider you are getting a pair of pillows, and not just one ! As long as they hold up nicely, I will be a fan for life !! Nothing beats good down bedding. I will never go back to all those synthetics. They don't "breathe", they trap heat, they are heavy. 100% quality down all the way !! ... show more

I was having problems getting any proper sleep and I have tried multiple different styles of pillows and none worked. I am also a current CPAP user and I was spending a lot of money on multiple types of pillows and nothing seemed to help give me support for both my head and mask. I seen this pillow and thought it might be a bit expensive but tried it anyways. And it is wonderful!!! You do get what u pay for. It might cost a couple more dollars but it is sooo worth it. I am able to lay on my side and tuck it around my mask and still be able to use the pillow comfortably under my head. And sleep has never been better. I would recommend this pillow to any CPAP user. I will also be purchasing another one in the near future to just have because it is soft and fluffy and has kept it's form since I got it in the first of January. ... show more
