This is a very convenient UBBCARE 58L Cotton Laundry Basket for transferring laundry from my bedroom to the laundry room and the size is perfect for a load! It’s thick but not overly heavy, it’s actually lightweight. It’s built with high quality and there are no loose strings. The handles are comfortable. Per instructions: “Restore Elegant Shape: Collapsible design for easy shipping. Fill with clothes or blankets to restore shape. Use a steamer to remove creases and maintain a neat appearance. Practical and stylish nursery hamper storage solution.“ Although I have not tried doing this and have only had it for a few days now, I do feel like this would work well. I’m honestly somewhat worried of doing it wrong and ruining it so I’ll just be patient and hope for it to happen naturally over time while filling it with laundry tightly. Well made, quality weaved laundry tote. It is too small for my needs for using it for laundry so I repurposed it to be a beach bag. It is the perfect size for holding towels and kids’ toys to the beach for a fun day in the sun. It’s probably not compostable but when it comes dirty laundry that may be what you want. This laundry hamper is nice and sturdy. The fabric is soft to the touch. There is no fiber content/country of origin/care instructions labeling. At first, 20” sounded small to me, but once I saw this hamper unfolded and fully loaded, it’s of ample size. The basket itself looks and feels like it may be cotton. The thread this is sewn with is so shiny, I doubt it could be cotton (it’s either synthetic or semi-synthetic rayon). There is a lot of thread in this thing as it’s made sort of like a coiled braided rag rug. The handles are reinforced with metal rivets and are indeed soft and comfortable to hold. The handles are why I give this 4/5 stars. The product description says over and over that they are leather. They aren’t leather. Leather comes from animal skin and the handles seem like synthetic leather. So if you want a 100% biodegradable, compostable hamper, you’re out of luck. But if you want a vegan hamper, then you’re ok here. In my experience, this hamper holds enough laundry to fill a standard top-loading house-style washing machine, plus that extra pair of jeans you remembered you also want to wash. Just keep ‘em on in the laundromat and you’re gravy. ... show more

The is a great hamper although it could be considered small. It does fit a weeks worth of closing for an active couple but it will be full! It seems to be well made and looks like it will last!

My dog has an insane amount of toys! Don’t judge…she’s really freggin cute!! This holds them all with room to grow! SOO large!! The shape hasn’t quite evened out yet but I’m sure it will with time. There isn’t anything on the bottom to stabilize it. That would be my only real criticism. Recommend!

Took a picture of the hamper with a couple others I have to give you a sense of size. So this replaces the hamper on the left side of the picture whose strap broke. The strap on this handle is leather with metal rivets. Very strong. I had not realized this would be shorter than the one I had, but somehow it holds all the laundry for the family no problem.
