This arrived quickly and with good instructions. We had gotten a Smart Life bed from King Koil. It’s just a tad hard for me: because of arthritis and fibromyalgia I need more plushness. I figured since it was adjustable I’d be ok and I swear it was softer in the store. Well it was not but hubby was ok with it. And it really really helped his sleep apnea and snoring. So this mattress pad was a solution. I LOVE it!!! And you know what? So did he and so we ordered another for his side! All the sensors and the wave relaxation still work! And my sleep has improved tremendously and so has his! Back to the mattress pad. It’s so soft and plush, I don’t want to get out of bed. DO put it in your dryer on low or extra low for 20 minutes to fluff it. ALSO, remember to spot clean only. We bought gray to match our sheet set. We do have the split top king bed and I was afraid it would not work but it did and the bottom sheet fit over it perfectly. Which was good because the straps are useless due to only 3 sides. I really like this topper out of all the previous ones I have purchased, to provide a softer, more comfortable feel and sleep. The only objection I have about it is that it cannot be washed! To keep it fluffy I stuff it in my dryer on "air fluff/no heat" setting, then afterwards, shake it vigorously to evenly distribute the filling in each segment. ... show more

UPDATE: 3/8 The manufacturer reached out to me after I posted my review and stressed how sorry they were that I wasn’t happy with my product. They sent a replacement very quickly. I just received it today and will follow up once I let the topper sit out and get a chance to try it out. Updating to 4 stars - because the customer service is top notch! I am so appreciative of how nice they were and how quickly they worked to make me a happy customer. Original post: I was really excited to order this topper. However, we opened our package yesterday and left the topper out all not to acclimate and it’s not any thicker or fluffier than when we first opened the package. It’s very flimsy in most spots with a few squares very fluffy. I just wish they were all that fluffy. I do t have any confidence that the rest will expand that way. We did put it in the dryer to see if it would help but no luck. I’ve seen other review photos and their toppers look so plush. I wish mine looked like that as well. Debating on whether or not to return or wait a little while longer to see if the topper expands. Maybe mine is defective? ... show more

Been using this for almost a year, it's lost some puff in my usual sleeping spot, but it still feels nice. I have noticed that I've been sweating more; could be the mattress, could be hormones, could be stress. I recommend keeping it washed.

I guess I was expecting something that was a little tighter or more of over filled pockets of stuffing or down alternative. It felt more like it was loosely stuffed not as thick as shown in the picture. The best way to describe how it felt when laid on is like a slip and slide.
