I have purchased six fifty foot lengths of this type of hose from another manufacturer through a retail store. Their connectors are plastic; not metal as this hose has. This hose is much better on that point. It remains to be seen if this hose is truly stainless steel as advertised. My previous purchased hoses claimed to be stainless steel; but rusted from laying inside the wet hose bin. The main issue with this hose is its length. I bought the 75 foot hose. Laid it stretched out and measured it with a steel carpenters tape. It was short by seven feet. Not a big deal for me as it still gives me the minimum length I need. I thought this would be a great hose since I didn't see any bad reviews. I got this on Aug 14 and was loving it until today when it burst on me! I expected quality for the price I paid. Or it may have just been my bad luck and I got the defective one out of the lot. I just need to find out where to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement or money back because I have been looking all around and can't find their contact info. If anyone knows where it would be and can direct me, it would be appreciated. ... show more

    • Most durable hose I have ever owned.
Once the weather warms up. Rubber hoses kink and pinch resulting in leaks no matter what quality they are. This stainless sreel flex hose is fantastic. It isn't any heaviervthan my old hoses of the same length (75ft) and puts out plenty of water. Its slightly smaller ID reduces flow a wee little bit but not enough to be a problem. I've already showed it to two neighbors who noticed the shiny metallic look as they were walking by..they have both orderred their own since. I highly recommend this hose for lots of applications...gardening, car washing, and it definitely should be in every motorhome or camper. 5 stars from me. ... show more

Best hose ever!! Own 2 now. One for front & back of house. Will NEVER go back to cumbersome rubber hoses! I would recommend letting the hose drain after shut off especially in hot, sunny location.

I bought this despite some negative reviews. I am so happy with this hose. I have it on a hose reel and it is so easy to use. It pulls out easy and rolls up effortlessly. I have bought so called kink free hoses in the past, they always kink. This hose is amazing, I love it. I have dragged it around corners and it has held up so far. Only complaint is the mist option does not come out as a mist. I would tell anyone to buy it. I plan on buying another in the future for the front of my house. ... show more

Without a doubt, this hose does not get "kinks" in it. It is lightweight and easy to handle. Overall, I do like the hose. The only downside is that it is not nearly as powerful/strong as my old hose. Adjusting my hose handle to "jet" or "soaker", I am not able to have it spray as much as my old hose did. ... show more

I am still getting used to this new kind of hose. It is very convenient, and seems to be very good in every way. I store mine on a hose rack which puts the hose in a series of circles on the rack and I find it very slippery, and sliding around where a rubber his does not. That is not necessarily bad, but just different. It seems that it will wear very well.. Also does not kink, like most hoses will. Much easier to drag around. ... show more

    • If it gets to 34 degrees it will freeze up

I couldn't believe it, went outside before the temp dropped to freezing to turn the sprinkler on so my garden didn't frost over, and this hose was frozen inside. It was exactly 34 degrees outside. No other hose was frozen. Not sure if the metal absorbs the cold of what but it was a definite early morning surprise. If you don't need it when it's around freezing though, it will be fine. Yeah the plastic hose inside the metal tube look very tiny, but my water pressure was the same a s with my full size hoses. No complaints in warm weather ... show more
