The good: - It props up the X-Maxx fairly secure, even with the tires still installed. There's about 1 1/2" clearance underneath with the Trenchers on. - Traxxas Blue - First of these I've been able to find for a larger scale vehicle. All the rest seem to be 1/8 and smaller scale - locking mechanism to rotate the vehicle is easily accessed, and locks and unlock without any issue - smooth, stable spinning. The Bad: - Expensive, but it's to be expected of a Traxxas product - The truck has a little bit of wobble back and forth when on the mount. I'm not concerned it will fall off of the mount, but it's something I noticed initially. - I wish it had some sort of magnetic tray for hardware. All-in-all, a great stand for the X-Maxx/XRT if it's in your budget and you work on your vehicle often. I had a collapsible step stool sitting on an 18" spinning food platter. So I know this will be more functional, stable, and aestheticly pleasing. Worth the money? Yes, if it's within your budget. I don't think there's much more (if anything) available like this on the market. But it is a solid unit that does what it advertises. 4 1/2 stars, but I rounded up. Hope this helps ... show more

Beautiful well built product! Don't need make-shift stands for my Xmaxx anymore lol. Lockable so it won't spin when you mess with horizontal nuts and screws.

    • DO NOT BUY - TOTAL PIECE OF CRAP
If you are reading this - please do not buy this piece of cheap metal and waste your money. The screws are very cheap and strip when trying to install. Also the threads are NOT pre-done, so you have to basically drill your own hole into the plastic. Tried to remove screw and it shatted. Would give is ZERO STARS if I could. Very let down by this quality ... show more

No tool was provided to assemble the stand. I ended up messing up the stand with screws that fit perfectly but were too long so the stand cannot swivel.
