Press was great while it lasted for a year, then the mounting bolt fell off the arm, making the press a huge paper weight. All the threads are stripped and can not screw the plate back on. Also, the steel rod behind the mounting screw snap. Note: This is not a bolt that I ever tighten or loosen. Revised: customer service replied and sending all replacement parts free of charge. This machine is the right size for a beginner looking for more than the heat press size. the heat up time works fine for me , I turn it on and allow to heat while working on my project. love the pre programmed settings, love being able to thread the materials. love the color. this works for me and a great price if you mare looking to spend a little more . ... show more

    • Auto-press not working, melting
The media could not be loaded. We were so excited to get this press but almost immediately started having trouble. At first the magnet was working great, but after we used the emergency release it never worked again. We’ve tried pressing the button, unplugging and plugging back in. Now we have to hold the lever for the plate to stay shut. While trying to troubleshoot we started adjusting the pressure, but immediately noticed it was melting? (Video). We haven’t even had the press two hours and this was immediately what happened. Based on the reviews this seemed like an incredible press so we’re really bummed this happened. Will probably end up returning in hopes of finding a press that is reliable :( ... show more
