I bought size medium. Pros: Perfect little pool for my 2-year old to play in on our porch. She can climb in and out easily. I also love the built-hose attachment for filling and draining. I did, however, have to go out and buy a separate hose connector set to be able to use with the hose attachment that the pool came with. But that was only a few extra bucks. Cons: The bottom is quite thin and needs a tarp or something underneath to avoid any damage, even in grassy yards. So I’m not sure how this pool would be considered doggy durable. ... show more

I bought the 39 inch toddler pool for my dog. She steps over the side and dips her whole body in the pool. A great pool for small children, but it is deep enough to never leave a child unattended even for a moment. I purchased this for our ducks, so I needed something sturdy that they couldn’t bend down the sides. We previously had just a plain vinyl sided children’s pool and of course the sun took its toll on the sides but also the ducks will stand/perch on the sides so it did crack and start to leak. This pool looks like it will do much better since the sides are reinforced. Time of course will tell but for now I am very pleased. Our lab loves to chew and loves water. He destroyed a plastic kiddie pool and this one seemed more durable. He absolutely loved it. Even chewing it. Lasted for about 3 hrs of play total. I guess we’ll just cycle through the cheap plastic ones or shell put money for a stock tank.
