    • Works extremely well
Normally we use the hose to wash the dog on the deck. But because our dog is a border collie collie. Refer has an outer coat and then an inner much denser waterproof coat. A lot of times the water from the hose would just not penetrate the second coat and it became difficult to get her underlying for wet. In this particular case, I had to use a medicated shampoo because of the skin issue and needed it to penetrate and I saw the Aqua Paw. It made sense since the nozzles had some depth that it would get down to the skin and underneath the dense coat. This proved to be extremely correct and the dog got wet down to the core so to speak. The other thing I noticed was I was using a whole lot less water just to wash the dog completely. My first glance at the Aqua Paul was that it looked pretty cheaply made. But let's say it's cheaply made like a pail and shovel at the dollar store and you know three of my different generations of kids of use shovel and pail. So I'm pretty amazed at how well it works and so far has been quite durable. The interesting thing is you can use full pressure on the hose and the Aqua Paw has a pressure reducer in it plus an on-off switch located in the center which is pretty cool. It's embedded into the Paw so it can hurt your dog in any way. The water comes up very gently in the thick shower so of fashion. And because it's got an adjustable wrist strap it stays on perfectly as you rub it on the dog like a brush. It's really easy and fast to use. After shampooing the dog using it again to rinse the dog it's a very thorough rinse. So again you're not using much water and it's getting the soap out quickly. The only issue I had was my hose on the deck had a female quick disconnect and the quick Paw also had a female quick disconnect porch and I had a little connector that reverse gender. Now for using this in a shower or a tub that shouldn't be anything of a problem because the product also comes up with several different connectors and multiple connectors all of which is quite convenient. Cons: honestly I don't have any cons and with a lifetime warranty, I guess of any issue comes up I won't have a problem ... show more

    • So easy!
I just got my dog washer and it used it on my old stinky pitty. It worked great! Took about 5 minutes to hook it up to the shower and super easy to adjust and turn on. The water pressure was what came out of the shower so it was great for my old dog. I also love that I can adjust the temperature of the water. The hose was long enough to reach her paws and belly. The hose was also flexible enough to move with me in washing her and didn’t get stuck or tangled up. Being able to set this up in the bathtub also gave me a seat to wash my dog from and the hand paddle was perfect for really massaging the soap in. It is also great that I can turn on and off the paddle with just a touch to the center of the paddle. If you are looking for an inexpensive way of turning your shower/bath into a dog wash, this is the product for you. ... show more

    • Flimsy materials but so far performing adequately
The diverted included in this kit is all plastic. That was a little disappointing. But not entirely unexpected. The means by which it is attached to the shower is also odd. They included threaded tape and indicated its use on the connection of the diverter to the shower head pipe, but that didn’t work; the threads in the diverter wouldn’t tighten up. They also included rubber washers that fit in the same opening of the diverter, so I tried that, and it seems to have worked. Unfortunately the diverter ended up oriented such that the sprayer hose connection points UP rather than down when connected, which is a little weird and unintuitive, and wastes hose length as it must first travel up and then curve downward. Luckily the hose is reasonably long so we are still able to bathe our pups with the hand sprayer in the tub even though the hose connection is oriented sub-optimally. Once I snugged all the connections (and used the o-rings), there are no leaks at this time. In use, my wife said it worked fine and the dogs seemed to like it fine. She still ended up making a bit of a mess, but we will chalk that up to familiarity using the device for now. The only question left will be longevity/durability over time.     • Makes bath time so much quicker and more efficient!
I recently bought a dog tub to help wash my dogs rather than continue to go to the groomer. While the tub came with its own sprayer this was a recommended item. From the description it looked pretty good. It wasn’t too expensive and seemed like it would make the process easier. This was a great purchase! The packaging was easy to open without a knife. It comes with adapters to either install it on a shower head or a hose. It also has a quick connect adapter to make it very easy to attach and remove. The button to turn it on and off is really conveniently located and easy to use. The hose is nice and long which made washing my dogs and walking to both sides of them easy. But probably the best part is the material and the rubber scrubbing nubs combined. Due to the nubs you can get the water through the coat to the skin much faster than using your hands. I have a short haired dog with a double coat and a long-haired dog also with a double coat. It takes some effort to get them wet. Then it takes even more effort to get the shampoo thoroughly out of their hair. As much as I loved the initial experience of getting them wet, rinsing them off after shampooing was amazing. The rubber material with the nubs makes rinsing shampoo ridiculously easy. It was almost like using a squeegee on my dog. One or two slow passes starting at the top of their backs from neck to tail and moving down their sides in the same front to back motion had them thoroughly rinsed in no time. It’s also a nice water saver to be able to quickly and easily start and stop the flow. The spray comes out far enough from the nubs that you don’t have to rub the dog with the scrubber to use it. I just sprayed down their faces and used my hands to shampoo there then rinse them off. The spray is gentle while still getting the job done efficiently. Great purchase! ... show more
