Actually works pretty well. I’m not a professional welder but if you need to repair something small it really works. I’ve used it to make small repairs to lawn equipment, brush hog for the tractor, and an outdoor table.

I purchased this welder to repair the footrests on styling chairs in our cosmetology school. This thing worked well for the price. The last time I welded was in 1982. However, I've been able to use it to repair 3 chairs thus far using 1/16" 6013 rods & looking forward to using it again.

You can bring this thing anywhere! It'd fit in a school backpack and it is powerful. It also makes the stick welding a breeze compared to my bigger more expensive stick welder. It truly impressed me, I didn't think it benefit me at all due to the size of it I actually was nervous when I opened it. But I had so much fun using it. I haven't gotten to try the lift tig welding because I still need to get the argon and tungsten rod but with how it amazed me with the stuck portion I'm excited to try it. ... show more
