I bought this for my grand daughter's 8th birthday. I researched, and read everything to make a responsible decision and this brand was at the top of each review for safety, and durability. The next step was to try it myself before I presented to her for her birthday. I read, and re-read the instruction for use, charged the battery until I had a full green signal on the charger. I got on the Hoverboard as instructed trying to have a fluid motion with one foot in back. I stood there on the Hoverboard for a good minute just wobbling, but never fell off or even felt like I was going to. I realized that the board was sensitive to my motions, and I was really confusing it. The instructions stated to not have anxiety, and I realized very quickly that meant to be relaxed. I memorized the instructions for moving forward, turning, stopping, ect. However I soon realized that it was just common sense. I do have a video of me jumping off the Hoverboard, which is really funny, but it was not a fall, and I should have just stayed on bending my knees as instructed. When I jumped off, the board immediately stopped, so I appreciate that as well. Withing 5 minutes I was travelling through the house, pretty flawlessly. I spent another few hours mastering the ride, it was so much fun. I can not wait for my grand daughter to start using this Hoverboard. After my practice runs I feel like she will be safe, and have fun. I have decided to purchase another board for me so we can ride together. The blue tooth synced perfectly with my phone, the sound is very clear, and crisp. I am 63 years old and not an adventurous type, but this Hoverboard is just easy fun. ... show more

    • What a Great Indoor and Outdoor Hoverboard!

The media could not be loaded. This was the first hoverboard my kids have used and they absolutely love it. They each received one for Christmas and they ride them all the time in the house....and I mean all..the..time. It was amazing to see how agile they became on them. They seem to maneuver very well. I've tried it and they ride circles around me. The wheels do not leave marks on the carpet or hardwood floors so that is a plus! The battery seems to last a long time, and the charging is fairly quick. They also figured out how to to play music through the Bluetooth speakers on the Hoverboards. They have also hooked them up to one of those Hoverboard gokart kits and they can ride up and down the street sitting down, so now they have indoor and outdoor options to ride. We did have an issue with one Hoverboard and reached out to the Tomoloo support. They were very responsive and provided a solution that resolved the issue. ... show more

My daughter (9) LOVES her new hover board! It is much easier to “drive” than other hover boards she has tried. Was able to balance and center her gravity easily within the first few minutes of trying it out. It moves in any direction with ease. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. It only took a couple hours to initially charge the hover board and then it was ready to go! I easily paired it with my daughter’s iPhone so she could play music through the hoverboard’s speakers. The sound is better than I would have expected for a hoverboard, and it is all controlled from her iPhone. The lights on the hover board are very bright, which I love since people should be able to easily see her coming. The only thing I’m not crazy about is how heavy the hover board is, only because my 9 year old can’t carry it very easily to a friend’s house. But the weight is probably a good thing for security, balance, and safety. I did a lot of research before purchasing a hover board and this was the best one I could find without spending $300+. I am not one to leave bad reviews and rarely believe half the bad reviews I read. However, I wanted to vent after this experience and what better place to do that than on the product review. I spent a lot of time researching hoover-boards before buying this one for my daughter. And I believe had I received what I purchased I would have been extremely happy with the purchase made. Anyways, we received it today and the first thing that threw me off was the device name on blue tooth. It was renamed and the pin to connect to it was changed from the default. However, I was busy so I told my daughter I would help her later. A few hours later I go to help her out and she also points out the charger keeps flashing red then green at random intervals. We switched outlets and it did the same thing. Finally, I flipped it over to get a better look at where the charging cable hooks up and notice the bottom of it is scuffed up already. Which leads me to believe it was a returned (defective) item. The scratches themselves were not to impressive as you can see in the pictures. But for $250 the scratches + the battery charging issue + the blue tooth pin / device name change is enough to make me want to return it. I am aware most people will read this post and assume I am just a picky entitled customer, and that's fine. I feel there has got to be some laws regarding this matter but I do not have the time nor energy to start digging into those (especially for only $250). In closing I would like to say that other than the three points mentioned earlier it does appear to be a nice sturdy hoover board. Respectfully, Chris Kaye ... show more
