  • So far, so good...
Size: 2 Traps
I'm going with four stars only because my experience with this is limited, but if I can update later I will. However, I had to say SOMETHING right now because I am impressed with both the trap and the attractant gel we used. I wasn't sure if the first trap we tried worked - thought maybe something tripped it - but the second one worked within 15-20 minutes. Daughter had seen the little bugger and was wide awake to listen for the trap going off, so we set two traps with attractant gel in the area. We couldn't see whether a mouse was caught or if the trigger had just tripped somehow, so we found a video that showed how to open the trap... verified it had indeed caught and killed a mouse (ick ick ick - but necessary). ... show more

  • Nothing yet
Size: 2 Traps
Easy to setup and use. Haven't got anything yet eve though there is evidence of them. Sticky traps still seem to work better

  • They're Great, When They Work
Size: 2 Traps
My mouse problem is in a garage near farm fields were mice run happily among nature. Now and then mice look for the protection away from predators and some find my garage a comfort and out of danger. I purchased the first pair of traps from a chain building supply store and they worked flawlessly. Rather than make another trip back to the store, I ordered two packages from Amazon and thought they too would trap and kill mice. Along with the trap order, I order Tomcat Attractant Gel, thinking that maybe it was better than peanut butter. The first two Tomcat Spin Traps worked wonderfully with peanut butter as bait and as a test used the same on two of the traps ordered from Amazon and on the two remaining traps used Tomcat Attractant Gel. Sadly, none of the four new traps were successful at killing a mouse. They were success at providing a free meal to the unwanted creatures. To verify that the traps are defective, I paired the traps with the old fashion mousetraps that are spring loaded with a steel bar. So far, the old fashion mouse traps scored six kills. The Tomcat Spin Traps zero. Others have complained about the Tomcat Spin Traps failure. One commenter even posted a video with the mouse going in and out of the spin trap, once again showing the trap’s failure. Personally, I think there is a problem with production since the first two traps worked flawlessly and the other four traps purchased from Amazon are worthless. You pay your money and take your chances. Until they release an improved Tomcat Spin Trap, I’ll be sticking with the old style mouse traps. ... show more

  • Definitely kills mice!!!
Size: 2 Traps
I live rurally and we get mice invading the house multiple times a year. I have tried many types of traps, but these spin traps have been the most reliable. I even caught a mouse unintentionally when I was storing them without bait under the kitchen sink. Only found out when it started to stink. I use a small dab of peanut butter in the bait "cup" and that has worked well. ... show more

  • Mice don't go in.
Size: 2 Traps
Set it up, it's easy, left it for 3 days and nights. Nothing happened, no catch. I think this trap is tunnel is too narrow even for the small mouse. Bait cap is tiny, cant hold a little more of enticing stuff. Peanut butter in the small amount gets dry in 3 days. Also double entry could be distracting for mice. They can go across in both directions but don't enter the narrow tunnel. Also smell of plastic of this trap cover is very strong, could be also a deterrent. I don't want to bother to return this trap is not expensive. There is now value for money though because it didn't catch the rodent. Hopefully the manufacturer will improve this trap because it is a good idea and it is easy to set. ... show more

  • Works great for me
Size: 2 Traps
Works great for me! I like that it dispatches the animal quickly and cleanly: just pick up and toss when done, no mess to see or touch. I switched to these as an alternative to sticky traps, which work great but just trap the suffering animal. How can you just toss it in the trash with the poor thing stuck there? The Amazon price is much cheaper than the hardware store. ... show more

  • Easy clean up, don’t forget to check them!
Size: 2 Traps
Worked ok. I had success with 1 trap but didn’t know it, so it started to smell badly after a little while. So dont forget to check them! 2 had been accidentally set off by my toddler throwing a ball around and hitting them. And after a few times, I was unable to reset it. But 1 out of 3 worked, and that one trap was in a high traffic mouse area. No mess, easy clean up ... show more
