I like that I can leave these around the house under places where I see them around alot (computers, consoles, tvs, wifi routers, etc) and that the box comes with alot of traps unlike the ones at the store that give 4 for the same price. After a few days I check them and they always have some caught. The fact that its also designed with a box transformation along with the flat paper form is so versatile and applicable in a lot of environments. Even if one place doesn't get that many catches you can always relocate it easily and test other spots. Its so effective even i get stuck on it and its still durable enough to still catch insects. These traps are great. I hate that I had to use them but I put them in some of the rent houses I have and it was crazy what it caught in the first day! Very sticky. I found if you fold along the lines and then take the film off it it much easier. You can shape them into a rectangle form or keep them flat, both ways work well. They are a good size. It cought a 3" mouse that I knew nothing about. They do have a slight distinctive smell if you put a lot out, but nothing that is to unbearable. The warmers I put out helped with that issue. They are not the most attractive things to look at but I'd rather see them then what I saw when I first walked in. They are durable. I also found that if you keep the paper on you can cut the board smaller, like into four pieces, to fit into smaller places, plus instead of using one large one everywhere, you can put smaller ones out that are less noticeable. Of course you'll have to designate and eventually clean a pair of scissors because the glue will still get onto them. *Update. I started using these in my own home just to see what would happen. I actually caught a scorpion, spiders, and some other strange looking bugs! These work great in the garage too! I also found that you can use clear tape to tape around the boards and use them on walls and also under cabinets, sides of drawers, the tape makes it very versatile. I also put one in the car just for jokes, but found that it had caught some flies that managed to find their way in there. So these things work great. I highly, HIGHLY recommend these anv for the price it's great to have extra. Also I found that eventually you will have to change them out because they do loose their stickiness, but that is mostly to dirt,dust,hair stuff of that nature that gets caught as well. Easy to use, easy to fold, convenient. Multiple ways to deploy the pads. I usually change them out every 3-6 months and they are covered with captured critters (bugs). No unusual glue smell like other brands and plenty of room to hold onto the sides so you don't get sticky.

    • Catching smaller rats!

I was mad that these were smaller than I expected, BUT they’ve been pretty successful at catching the smaller rats that I can’t rid of since the orange grove behind me was leveled. I’ve caught at least a dozen so far, so they’re definitely effective. Be warned though, I’ve had several mice that have literally torn themselves apart to get off the glue. Not exaggerating, I’ve found whole ears, tails with vertebrae, partial and entire legs up to hip/shoulder joint, even a whole mouse’s jaw bone once, so the mice can get free and will do so at all costs. Haven’t had a rat get free though. Also, the glue from these do NOT come off. I haven’t found anything that will dissolve or remove the glue from my floors where rodents have manage to flip the trap over in their struggle to get free. It WILL take the paint off the wall or baseboards if more than just the thin edge intended to hold the trap in place touches it, so beware of where you put these if you have fancy baseboards or paint! ... show more

These traps are easy enough to work with and very sticky! I had bought these in an attempt to catch some packrats living under both ends of my shed. The only things I caught were a small bird, a lizard, some bugs and the tail of one of the pack rats...just the tail! The packrats otherwise chewed the traps up and left quite the mess. The rodent under my kitchen sink at the moment is terrorizing us and we tried this product to help calm our nerves. Not only did they move the trap nearer there hole, they also ate the thing like as if it was dinner! The mouse trap quality is not good, I can assume I have a rat now because a little tiny mouse could not eat through that. If you have a strong sniffer, I wouldn’t recommend these.. they give off an overpowering, sickly sweet odor. Others in our household aren’t bothered, I gag if I get too close to one, and could smell them strongly when we had multiple out. They are very sticky tho, we’ve noticed that laying them flat catches mice, folded up does not catch mice, either way catches bugs aplenty! Simple to use, keep out of each of kiddos or pets for sure, it would be a nightmare to get them unstuck! They last as long as you leave them out I suppose, unless it’s a super dusty area then it’ll just collect dust. Good size when laid flat. ... show more
