Typically buy the green version of this stuff they sell at the store so I figured I'd try this purple house mouse version. I believe it is working based on all the "evidence" I see around my garage. However the green stuff I previously got seems to be more "popular' One of the nice things with this one is that my dog completely ignores it in the bait stations I made. It seems like they eat less of this one so I don't know if it doesn't taste as good to mice or they just need to eat less for it to take effect. Most of my mice aren't house mice though so that may be what's going on. I would definitely get it again if the green version was out at the store by my house. ... show more

I believe these are environmentally friendly. I don't need to buy another station or toss it out. I can refill my station with this bait, and it effectively reduces the mouse/rat population as I've noticed no huge increase in their numbers after each refill. I have confidence that it won't pose any risks to the children in my home because the bait is inside the station. It's also easy to refill, and I like its effectiveness. it does a good job handling the rats coming from the outside ... show more

    • The mice certainly seem to like it!
It's hard to tell if this really works because the mice are supposed to eat it and then go off somewhere and die. But it's not an active trap, so you don't actualy see the bodies. That said, when checking it daily there's always a bit more of the poison block gone, and some mouse droppings around it, so clearly the mice are eating it. And we haven't been finding evidence of mice in other places anymore. So my gut is that it is working! It took about a week for the first block to be eaten, and we're continuing with a second block now. So far, loving the results! ... show more

I have what I thought were mice living in my shed in the back yard. All the telltale signs - droppings, some small chew marks and that distinctive "mouse" aroma. After using this for a few weeks, it didn't seem to be working so I set out a few snap traps as well and surprise surprise, I caught a rat. Turns out that the hole in the station was just a wee bit too small for the rat to get in to. I ended up just tossing a few of the refills in the shed and over the course of a few nights they disappeared. I assume another rat or however many are in there took them away to their rat home thinking they got a nice prize. It's been a week no and I've seen no new droppings so these are definitely doing something. Good product and a good value for money, this is an item I would order again. ... show more

I noticed mouse droppings in the apartment above my garage. I put these bait stations out and haven't had any fresh droppings since a week after setting them out. I suppose this is safe once it is in the container but my dog got to it before I did and ate the entire package. He could’ve died but we got him to emergency in time
