The media could not be loaded. I wanted to have a fire pit this season but I was appalled at the prices of most rings on the market. This one seemed to be more reasonable, price wise, than most. It took less than 10 minutes to put together with only a screwdriver. The metal is thin Guage so how long it lasts remains to be seen. Ordered this for my backyard firepit, mostly to dress it up a little, and since I’m using paver brick/blocks for the pit ,stacked 3 high , they are getting brittle and turning red, so this should definitely help with that. Price was ok because they are pretty hard to find now as everyone is home doing stuff around the house cause of covid. Ring arrived very fast and packaged nice with foam between the 4 pieces, and there were 10 bolts and nuts giving 2 extras. There are flanges on each piece and mine lined up perfect, i put the nut on the outside, the top rim looks great, i did have to adjust my blocks out about 3 inches, but ive had the pit for a year before getting this ring. Will have to see how it holds up, but looks like a winner, ill most likely put the ring in the shed once it snows, it’s light and sturdy enough to move with ease. Comparing this ring to that of the product they sells at the big box hardware stores, this one definitely feels and looks much cheaper. But, it is much cheaper...like 50% cheaper, so in reality I have little to complain about. I'm about 100% positive I'll only get 2 or 3 seasons of use out of this thing before it rusts through, it's just very thin and flimsy feeling steel. It comes in 4 pieces and you put it together with 8 bolts and nuts....easy as that. The gaps in the top of the ring are definitely noticeable, so it does give off the cheap look from a visual standpoint. I also live in a wetter location, so I'm not expecting much life from this thing when I'm heating it up and cooling it down and subjecting it to humidity. That high heat coating will come right off and then the rust begins. And being as thin as it is, it's not going to take long to rust completely through even with regular derustings and respraying of the coating. The cost is nice however. I can literally purchase 2 or 3 of these for the cost of one of the higher quality rings. And because of that, I'm guessing this is probably the better way to go. We'll see though. UPDATE :: I just noticed that this ring is only available from a 3rd party seller at the moment for $150. I WOULD NOT pay that much for this thing.....ever. I paid $55 - $60 and that was enough. Please take note of this when purchasing this. My review is not for the current $150 price point. There are way better options at retail stores for the same, if not less, money Update 2 - after using this thing 3 times, I just brought it in a noticed quite a bit of rust already bleeding through the inside of the ring.
