  • BEST EVER!
I have tried MANY, MANY carpet cleaners and NONE have worked, until this one! I have pets and boys and with that comes a lot of mess! I did extensive research and I first purchased a Bissell carpet steamer/cleaner and cleaned my upstairs carpet. The Bissell left my carpet EXTREMELY wet. I had to put towels down everywhere, and once dried the carpet did not look good at all, and there appeared to be a film on the carpet. I then purchased the Tineco Carpet Cruiser and went back over the carpet. First of all, let me say, it picked up SO much dirt that was left behind by the Bissell. The water was black, and it had just been cleaned with the Bissell 2 days prior! I was extremely surprised by how little water was used and my carpet was not soaked. I went back over it with the drying feature and all of the carpet was completely dry. I also want to mention, when I used the Bissell, it took forever and I felt like I was fighting and struggling with machine, but the Tineco Carpet Cruiser took minutes per room and was so easy with the AI Assist. I had it set to medium and I was amazed by how easy the machine moved across the carpet. My carpet has never looked better! Also, with pet accidents. It is so easy to just pull the Tineco out and go right over them and the Self Cleaning feature is probably one of my favorite features. Once it is complete, the cleaning tray is completely dry! This is by far one of the best purchases! I absolutely love this machine!!! ... show more

  • Self Cleaning power machine!
This machine is pretty neat. It senses the stains and continues to alert until clean. It is more time consuming than a traditional commercial machine, because you know it is working. Self-Cleaning is awesome!

  • Great machine!
I contacted both Amazon and Tineco customer service, and they were extremely patient, walking me through each step online to help resolve the issue with the accessory mode. The machine works beautifully—it's simple to use and cleans the carpet with ease. My carpet feels fresh and rejuvenated, and the Power Dry function is truly impressive. ... show more

  • It's good, but not great. Needs some more work.
Beege's great review covered most of what I was going to say, but I'll go a little further: this machine has a serious engineering flaw in that it forces you to be emptying the dirty water tank every few minutes - even though the tank is nowhere near full. Since the water is black and disgusting, and can easily clog your drain up, I really hated having to do that so often. Why have such a huge dirty water tank, when the machine won't allow it to get even 1/5 of the way full before forcing you to empty it? It also does that with the self-cleaning function. A self-cleaning function should always work and not be something that gives you stress. Most of the time, it stopped around 30 seconds into it and forced me to "please empty the dirty water tank", even though I *started* with an empty tank! So I'd go empty it, again, put it back on, and self-cleaning would resume... for another few seconds before stopping again. Only rarely did the cycle complete without stopping numerous times for emptying. Also it does that on drying mode too. If I'm just drying, why is the tank demanding to be emptied every few minutes - when there's barely anything in it? It's a serious flaw. Also the hand held tool leaves much to be desired. With hard scrubbing, it tends to fall apart, and is frustrating to have to put back together. Also the trigger sprayer most of the time either put out no water, or a worthless dribble. Apparently your clean water tank has to be at least 90% full, or else the sprayer on the tool doesn't have enough pressure to get a good stream out. That said, it's not a huge problem, and the tool does a decent job as long as you accept that there's problems with it. It was very good at running across some dirty walls that had dust bunnies and old webs; it took them right off. But overall, I didn't like having to remember to not scrub too hard with the tool, lest the brush fall off, and I disliked having to use it without water a lot of the time. Those were the insufferable things that made me send it back and get the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam instead. But I will say, there are good things about it, as Beege mentioned. No trigger to press all the time; automatic water dispersion. And the drying mode is awesome and really works, even if a little time-consuming. The self-cleaning and drying of the brush is a great feature - when it works. The talking voice, well, it was cool at first but I quickly turned it off as it feels more like nagging than being helpful. "Please empty the dirty water tank" is not a phase I ever want to hear again in my life, after using this machine. ... show more

  • Amazing
I was really nervous when purchasing this carpet cleaner due to the price tag on it. I am so happy I bought it. It’s not small by any means which made me nervous at first being so use to the floor cleaner being so small. The tires on this look like they are made for the outdoors, the “cruise control” on it is amazing and helpful when you’re doing a fluffier carpet. Easy to clean, very simple product to use. 10/10 highly recommend! Ignore the price tag and just purchase! ... show more

  • faulty tank
The media could not be loaded. I didn't have the opportunity to use it since the clean water tank goes to the dirty tank and it asks me to empty it. Apparently the tanks were not sealed properly.

  • Not as advertised
I have owned several different carpet cleaners over the years. We decided to pull the trigger and buy a more expensive “better” carpet cleaner this time. However, it doesn’t seem to be better than any bissel, or any other cheaper brand. The only, and I mean only advantage is the self cleaning mode that’s on this model. Truly regret buying could have bought 3 of the similar style carpet cleaners for the price of this one ... show more
