I purchased the Tietoc for my husband. It had a great price and was shipped fast. As soon as it arrived my husband charged the battery to full capacity (it came partially charged) and filled it with oil. He then used the Tietoc mini chainsaw to remove a very old and damaged lilac bush/tree. It was a painless job to take the bush from its previous 10’ height to the ground. The Tietoc easily sawed through all the limbs even the largest being about 7.5” in diameter. This saw doesn’t cut very small branches very well, seems to just want to chop them up a bit. So he just used hand clippers for the little branches. But to actually saw through 2”-8” limbs it is a gem. I even tried it myself and it was light and easy to handle. Something I would never say about his full size 20” gas powered chainsaw. The lilac bush/tree job was completed in about 45 minutes with battery power still available. My husband said thanks..this is the best mini saw he’s ever used. We hope the batteries and saw last a long time and we would recommend Tietoc. ... show more

    • Worked Better than I Expected!

I wasn't expecting much from this. In fact, I thought it would be a return, but for the price point I decided to give it a try. We had a bad windstorm come through right after this arrived. I used this to cut branches and smaller trees that didn't make it. WARNING: This does not come with bar and chain oil so you will have to pick some up. PROS: Worked surprisingly well! Battery 1 lasted about 3 hours of continuous cutting. I cut through 8 to 10 inch branches and trees with this!! It didn't heat up or get stuck. I like the tiny oil storage bottle The extra chain and guide were a nice bonus The brush to get in and clean out all the saw dust from the nooks and crannies was priceless!! Great addition! Super easy to operate. The instruction guide is well done for replacing chain and guard. There was lovely note included in the box from the manufacturer, which I found very impressive. CONS: The case is really cheap. It works, but you wouldn't want to drop this a lot. The gloves aren't going to stop any cuts and the safety glasses are super cheap. I wouldn't trust this if you need it. The battery strength light is odd. Don't go by this. It shows fully charged, but you need to wait for the indicator light on the charger to go green before it is fully charged. (By the way it took about 2 hours to fully charge) I am totally happy with the chainsaw! I loved the personal note from the company, and was impressed that each battery lasted about 3 hours with continuous use cutting hardwoods and knotty ponderosa pine up to 10 inches! ... show more

As you can see in photo I’ve been using this little saw for reclaiming an overgrown apple orchard. It works good from 4 to 5 inch branches to under growth. Cut just about anything I put it to. Batteries lasted me about an hour with heavy use, nice two have two . The chain did need to be tightened periodically but easily done. Oiler works fine and chain has stayed sharp so far after 2 hours of use. Will see how it holds up I am putting to the test. The only draw back for me is I’m left handed luckily we lefties learn to adapt. Could be easily upgraded by changing the run safety to a lever in the middle of the handle. That way could be used with either hand. All in all great value and function so far ... show more

I did my homework and I did and watched all the reviews on as many 6-in saws as I could this one came out on top so I purchased the saw and I want everybody to know I really hammered on this if you can see in the picture I used two bars of One battery and I really pressed on this now it is possible to get this out to overheat and stop if you go fast enough like I did really ,work on this saw to see what it could do the battery can overheat and stop the saw if you do like most people will do and take your time and cut accordingly you can cut a stack of wood with two batteries it's an amazing saw the oiler works well like all oilers they leak a little and there's no big deal that's actually a good thing I saw especially an electric one it's Auto feeding on the blade but I still pumped it anyway never enough oil on that blade when you're cutting so much in the picture I cut 6 in 4 in and 3 in and a stack of little it seems to cut best on 2 in and above cuz it's as rips right through anything smaller would I say to purchase it absolutely what I say the reviews are accurate when they said it's one of the best ones out there absolutely easy to manage easy to tighten the chain easy to clean they give you a brush they give you the screwdriver for chain adjustment the only thing they don't provide is oil bar oil they give you an extra chain and extra bar you could really go to town with this thing anybody who's cutting backyard things and firewood 6 in and smaller it's perfection, update now November 7th and I will say I've cut a full cord of wood with this little saw just for firewood I am very happy I brought this it works extremely well and trust me when I say I've tested it if you press too hard it actually doesn't stop and actually overheats the battery and quits but if you give it a short it regains its strain. But I'm standard cutting it cuts quite fast and I would say probably 6 in and 7 seconds to 10 seconds depending on the type of wood the oiler I would suggest leaving dry when you store it in your case like all chainsaws they have a tendency of leaking a bit and that's to be expected I would rather have a solid that has oil coming from it then one that is dry it's a bonus if you leave after all the wood I've cut my blade on my saw is still razor sharp I'm impressed very good to the makers of the saw I would purchase this for a gift I would buy it again. ... show more
