The ThermoPro TP-03B is easy to use right out of the box. Packaged well. Battery is included. The folding probe design makes it convenient to store and safe to handle. Plus there's 2 small magnets on the back so I can keep it handy on my fridge. I love how quickly it reads the temperature. Within seconds it provided a reading. Like the instructions recommended I ran the probe under cool wayer before checking another piece of meat to ensure an accurate reading. The back has standard meat readings for a quick reference too. The display can be dim or brightly lit. Instructions are easy to understand and straightforward. Cleaning and maintenance are a breeze, too. My third one. Fast, appears accurate. Folds nicely, magnets keep it up and out of the way. Used for many kitchen needs (meat, soups, hot water for yeast, checking refrigerator temp). Just don't let an uninformed gueest try to close it without pushing the release button.

I love this thing! It's sturdy and has a magnet at the back allowing me to keep it attached to the stove, so I don't lose it in a drawer. It's is easy to see the read out and seems to read the temperature of food accurately. I've simply use a sponge with a little soap to wipe the thermometer portion, so I don't know if it's waterproof. Great tool. The magnetic feature makes it easy to keep handy anywhere in the kitchen. I bought mine in 2021, and I managed to break the plastic collar that holds the probe. Buying a new one.
