Have had other hoses of similar type and the insides broke. This has lasted with no problems. Have three different lengths and all three are still working. Just don't crank up the water flow to the point the hose is very stiff. No need - the water will only come out as the size of the hose allows. Would recommend ... show more

Have only used this hose once so far and it seems like a great hose. Flexible, doesn't go through all that expansion thing when turned on. At this point I would say the only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was because of the black film it leaves on your bare hands when handling it. I wiped it down really good but it still did it when handled. I will use some cleaner today to see if that does the trick. ... show more

This garden hose works beautifully. It is light weight, coils up nicely (when empty) and is flexible to water just about everything. Someone wrote that the water pressure isn't significant enough to wash a car. I disagree that the hose can't handle that. It must be their water pressure, not the hose. I've talked a neighbor into buying one also and they love theirs, too. The nice thing is that it's pretty much leak resistant. The other flexible hoses I've had, and there have been many, spring a leak after just a short time using them. This one is so much better! I highly recommend it! ... show more

This hose is light and non-kinking. But the size is smaller than you're expecting. A "typical" garden hose is 5/8" diameter.; a "lightweight" hose might be 1/2". The write-up for this hose carefully avoids giving the diameter. In fact, the outside of the stainless steel jacket is slightly less than 5/8", so the actual tube inside is less than 1/2". Even worse, the orifice on the hose end is less than 3/8"(!) so effectively, it's a 3/8" hose and you will get a lot less flow and pressure than you would with a hose that is truly 5/8". If all you're doing is watering potted plants, fine. But for washing your car, hosing off your deck, or filling a pool, forget it! Smaller problems: (1) Dissimilar metals corrode, so eventually the aluminum hose end will bond onto the brass spigot. I'm hoping a little grease applied to the threads every now and then will forestall this. (2) The knurled collar on the female end is very narrow and hard to get a grip on. (3) The included nozzle is lightweight plastic and I expect it won't last long. ... show more

I love this hose SO much that I purchased a second one…One for my front yard and one for my back yard… It is extremely flexible and really easy to work with.
