    • Harmony Pillow vs OG Purple Pillow
I own both the The Purple Pillow OG and the Purple Harmony Pillow. I bought the Purple Mattress with the Harmony Pillow about a year ago. I have enjoyed the Harmony Pillow but I didn't love it. (I do love the Mattress though) Now some context. I generally sleep on my side and occasionally on my belly and rarely on my back. When I did sleep on my back the Harmony Pillow felt amazing. Like a cloud cradling my head. But most of the time I sleep on my side. And it would frequently leave me with shoulder and arm pain and even neck pain. It wasn't every night so I tolerated it. Until I didn't. I almost bought that CUBE Pillow I see advertised because they direct their adds at side sleepers... but I hate memory foam so I never tried it. But I did recognize the concept. That's when I decided to try the OG Purple Pillow. It came in and I immediately tried it on its highest setting. I felt it could be just a smidge higher but it felt great on my side. However, flipping onto my back was not comfortable. That was OK for me though cuz I rarely sleep on my back. So verdict. If you primarily sleep on your side go OG Purple Pillow. But if you're a back sleeper go harmony. The Purple Grid on the Purple Pillow is great. Very firm feels supportive. The Purple grid on the harmony Pillow does almost nothing. It's maybe an 1/8" tall and it is ONLY in the Pillow case. Not on the Pillow itself. The Pillow itself is that latex gel material I believe. Feels good but is minimal. The height adjusters on the OG Purple pillow are fine. Nothing to write home about. They are thin flat Pillow with very little to them. But I definitely this comparison was helpful for Potential Purple Pillow customers. Go OG for side sleepers. Go Harmony for back sleepers. ... show more

    • This Purfect Pillow inspired me to spend $1000 on a Purple Mattress!
Honestly, the pillow is marvelous, but, Purple uses a material called hyper-elastic polymer, and it's a love it or hate it subject, so trying before buying is crucial! For me, I slept on this pillow less than a week, and knew I had to have a Purple mattress; it's that good! Extremely supportive, yet never too firm or too soft, and never painful. This material also sleeps very cool, and the hottest sleepers are never sweat drenched or tossing from hot spot to hot spot, my second reason for purchasing. The most important topic for pillows is comfort, and this one here is king! The pillow is well engineered, and 3" of hyper elastic polymer is what make's this pillow stand in a class of it's own! This material is the perfect blend of softness, support, breath-ability, and comfort, and you only find it in Purple. Underneath the 3" of hyper-elastic polymer is a cloth woven into the material. It seems out of place at first, until you realize how it helps the pillow stay in place, as well as help keep it's integrity. This pillow never needs to be flipped, or fluffed, and completely changes how you think about, or use, pillows. Oh, and it weighs 10 lbs. This seems like it would be completely unacceptable, but weight is hardly even noticed thanks to how this pillow revolutionized the whole world of pillows; no flipping, no fluffing, no hot spots. Adjust-ability is also great, as this pillow has two "boosters" that will effectively change the height or thickness. These boosters are made out of soft foam (polyurethane), with one being 1" thick, and the other being 0.5" thick. This is genius! Being able to adjust thickness and height for a perfect match to your body and mattress makes a massive difference! This allows a completely different and more typical material to be used for sleep, if you are a person that loves being able to mix things up in bed! Or a person that has very personalized preference, like me. From a $100 pillow, to a $1000 mattress, Purple has changed my world of sleep, and I will never sleep on anything but, given the chance. This company was born making orthopedic braces, so it's no wonder why Purple make a perfect pillow, and mattress! I sent their talalay latex version back, but this one's a keeper! ... show more

    • Best Pillow Ever, So Far!
For the past few years I have been using memory foam pillows and have found a few that I had really liked. However, they do in fact retain heat and will make my head sweat in warmer weather. Then, recently, I woke up with sever neck pain that has lasted for many weeks. I realized that my pillows clearly had something to do with this so I found this pillow and wanted to give it a try. Since I have had it, my neck pain has significantly improved and I have been sleeping better with this pillow. I love how it feels which is much different than memory foam and it does seam it will be cooler in the warmer weather which is around the corner. I laugh when I read reviews on how this pillow is too heavy....it is a bit heavier than a memory foam pillow but certainly not too heavy and I have no issues placing my hand underneath it when I sleep, unlike what some reviewers complained about. So comfort and support is excellent!! It is a bit thin, even with the removable insert it comes with so I do use a very thin pillow underneath to raise it up to my comfort level and it works perfectly. I only need a cheep thin pillow to achieve my desired pillow height. So it is expensive but I think worth it and would recommend to anyone having neck issues from their current pillow, especially if you are using memory foam like I had for years.
