I love Sunday Riley Good Genes lactic acid treatment but yikes it's expensive. After reading some info on the internet, I decided to try this since it's about 10% of the cost of SRGG! The formula is very different. This one is watery whereas SRGG is a cream. SRGG "soaks in" and feels like a moisturizer while this one feels slightly tacky after it dries. I feel a little tingling sometimes with this one, but no tingling with SRGG. I think they have similar results - my skin feels really soft after both. I love SRGG and also their Luna sleeping oil. If I had to choose which one to get the authentic one, I would choose Luna oil because the closest dupe out there isn't even close. The Ordinary Lactic Acid gets similar results as Good Genes. It's harder to apply and feels kind of sticky, but for the price difference I can deal with that. ... show more

This is a must, especially at this price. Lactic acid helps thicken skin that's thinning out. I use this under The Ordinary's copper peptide serum. It is very gentle, and I do not feel any stinging as I might with other acids. Highly recommended!
