  • I truly enjoyed this story
The time spent reading this tail was well spent and enjoyed Can’t wait for the next story. How this is created would be fun to see.

  • Love this series!
Love this series. Great escapism reading by the pool. Brings to life certain locations like St Augustine Florida.

  • love the chase Fulton series
I started reading these books because I enjoy action novels but what really hooked me are the characters Cap Daniels created and their interaction. Like popcorn I keep coming back for More.

  • Another great book in the series
Chase Fulton and his team are the best fighting crew of Americans ever seen. And when they decide to pick on a Russian surveillance ship off their coast, who knows what kind of fireworks will erupt? Mostly unexpected ones.

  • Great read...
Cap Daniels sure knows how to spin a good yarn. That's my Texas country coming out. I love all the main characters in the novels. I like their interactions with each other. In the stories are all so fantastic.

  • HOW Does Cap Always TOP the One Before???
Right from the Dedication through the last word this one is full of heartfelt words, surprises, smiles, ACTION and tears. Did I mention ACTION??? There is always a healthy dose of history planted for all of us who didn’t especially love it in school. All of you air and sea junkies are going to LOVE this one. This 74-yr. old Gram sure did!!! Cap has something for everyone. Favorite characters reappear in more depth, hidden talents revealed, changes are made, roles are fluidly juggled as the team goes about what they are trained to do. Cap’s use of humor goes a long way to breaking any tension, if only temporarily, including a shameless plug for himself. 😉 This author took me from tears and deep sadness to heart pounding, no, heart stopping anticipation, gasping to breathe in two consecutive chapters. I did live to tell you to be prepared!!! And it happened yet again later on. I’m sorry for being overly dramatic, but this series does that to me. Yes, I am Beta Reader, but I buy my own copy for credibility. I get to read the “dirty copy” before the PRO team cleans up the typos, autocorrect fails and skewed details … of which I found NONE of the latter! But, I’m not a pro, either! That is why THEY get the money and we Betas get the pleasure! I have tantalized my husband throughout with "OMG, you are going to LOVE this one", "This is the best one yet!" "OH, I can't wait for you to read this one ... but wait you will!!!" Cue evil grin! He called me the “B” word …. I think he meant “beautiful”!!! ... show more

  • Boats and planes and seals (non-military); grab the edge of your seat.
I couldn’t put this one down. Much better pacing and challenges. Still a little rough on detail management - like telling someone, “Her name is Elisabeth, but everyone calls her Skipper.” While earlier in the series Skipper said she wanted to be called Elisabeth and everyone respected that request except Chase. So he was the only one calling her Skipper. And even suggesting that Penny might be driving the Mark V on a mission with weapons on board seems ludicrous. But hey, I haven’t never written a story and I admire Cap’s skill in putting all those pieces together. The best thing about this story is it leaves you wanting more. Will Penny FINALLY get her honeymoon? What will become of Anya (besides her own series - series #3 due out tomorrow!)? A lot more time is spent telling us what is happening rather that what happened in the past. And there are fewer instances of summarizing what we’ve already read. I’m enjoying the pacing so much I have to turn to the paper book on my stand and reassure her that she’s not forgotten - I’ll pick her up after one more Case Fulton (and the latest Anya). ... show more
